poo dude he looked pretty good last night, he needs to clean up the to's but I love his ability to run, throw on the run and be pinpoint accurate when he has time. I would be super thrilled if I was a bears fan

We're still stuck with Sam for $18,000,000, so send his ass out there in 2022. I know that sounds crazy, but we need to draft his replacement in 2023. Pick a LT in the upcoming draft. We need a lot of losses to be in position to draft our QB of the future. Sam either plays well behind a better o-line and we're set, or he poops the bed and we draft a top 5 or 10 QB and his money is off the books. That should be the plan My man. Great minds think alike. Even if sam plays decent (8 wins or so, and typing that even makes me laugh) then we still have the possibility of trading up for a guy we like. We dont have that luxury this draft.

you have it backwards 2022 is strong at the top for tackles and lineman and not strong with qb prospects 2023 is strong (really strong as we sit here today) with qb prospects Take the damn lump, draft a tackle run it back with sam and then get your qb The answer is so fuging easy I dont understand why folks and this franchise are making this hard. There are damn near 5 lineman that could go top 10 and we are going to draft Kenny 2 gloves and he will promptly get murdered by game 4.

Except we do know how much rebuilding its going to take. We specifically know. We need 4 out of 5 starters on the oline and we need a rookie qb and time for him to get his sea legs in the nfl. best case 2 seasons. So we address the oline this year and qb next year. We are minimum 3 years away IMO. And as far as addressing the oline in FA, we have tried that, it doesnt work. Teams build olines organically not by throwing money at the problem which we have historically done. Teams typically do not let franchise left tackles walk.

Sometimes this FO needs to learn to shut their fuging mouths because they look stupid without knowing it. our oline sucks and our FO says "we tried to trade for a tackle but nobody is willing to part" we draft a corner "we traded for 2 top 10 corners because we are competing now" Just moronic

Darnold has won 3 games this season

Oh I knew, trust me brother my memory is not that short that I know what happens if a qb comes in and he sucks.

In the meantime Goff just won again with the Lions and Trevor has one 2 games. Both of those franchises are about 3 levels below this one.

Not really, not really at all.

To be fair Teddy didnt look horrendous and in hindsight he should have been given one more season

Maybe for a normal franchise but I dont see it here. We have too many holes, 4 out of 5 lineman, linebackers, another corner or 2 and yeah a competent qb. Keeping in mind the draft this year is pretty much a dud with only one high pick of value. IMO this is a 3 minimum and that is if everything breaks our way
