  1. So we all agree we need to pick a lineman at 6 right?
  2. I will say it again and will do so until April. Rhule drafts pickett then he will be on IR by mid season. No way he selects pickett and puts him on the bench. He is the starter from the jump
  3. Sure but in theory there is top tier talent in the 6/7 range and normally it falls off a cliff past pick 10 or so. So value wise it would be much wiser to pick the oline instead of "reaching" for a qb just because he is cheap. I also seriously seriously doubt that Howell is #1 on their board. Again I dont know if the corrall injury helps or hurts the value of our position. I just know that we most certainly will be in striking distance of the tier 1 line talent and it would be foolish to walk away from that simply in the name of trying to recoup some of our picks due to a bad trade
  4. Fair enough but at pick #6 I want to shoot a little higher
  5. I liked the rhule hire initially but damn man that is not a good look right there
  6. This doesnt make sense. We are not trading back and still getting the best center prospect ever. And we are trading back and only getting a 2nd?
  7. "beyond the baseline of 3 first round picks"...........da fug are we talking about here?
  8. that would require our 2022 1rst. So fug that noise
  9. Yep just like last year folks on here were saying slater would be a reach at 8. If you like him pick him.
  10. If you trade 3 picks for a qb and then Pick up his option you don’t get a do over in choosing a qb. You picked darnold now go make it work. You made this poo bed go sleep in it.
  11. Yeah I am not sure what the hell he is thinking. Trading back is going to get us the 3rd or 4rth best qb and a 2nd tier tackle. Who is going to give us a kings ransom for pick 6? Someone give me a scenario of an offer that is going to blow us away?
  12. The center is being talked about the same way they talked about Nelson. He literally changed their line over night.
  13. I take it you havent watched Willis this year
  14. If NO lets him walk, which I seriously doubt, and if we got him on a reasonable deal I would be happy. But I doubt he is going to come here without an insane deal. https://whodatdish.com/2021/12/30/new-orleans-saints-terron-armstead-free-agency/ He is looking at a 4 year 95 million deal. Thats insane when we can simply draft one at 6
  15. I never bet against the Pitt franchise with Tomlin as coach.
  16. Legit LT rarely ever hit FA and if one was to this year then we would have to break the bank to get him here. For fugs sake I am going to say this until April, invest a high pick on a tackle for the first time in over a decade. Thats how you build nfl playoff lines
  17. I think without a shadow of a doubt we will be top 10 no matter who we pick at 6/7. Especially if Rhule is back as it appears. So that is why you take the tackle now and hope a couple of super qb prospects emerge for us to go get.
  18. Pitts last 10 drafts have an avg position of 20. With the high being 10. The rest are back there. Trading the 6 pick for a couple of mid to late round firsts would be some panther stupidity
  19. Thats not enough and Pitt tends to always pick mid late first The value of a top 10 (6ish) is very steep
