Thats the frustrating part, we really cannot accurately judge BC. Yesterday, to me, he looked really overmatched but the IOL did him no favors. Fact is BC should have have been inserted at the beginning of the losing streak to change things up. Now we are not going to have enough film to know if we need to draft one at 6. Would be nice to know he is an above average option but we jsut dont know

He throws a good deep ball and seems to be a leader in the lockerroom. That however doesnt come close to offsetting his cons and in no way should propel him to pick 6.

Panthers have to “make a true investment” in the OL

His quote sounds to me like they were not even going to select Sewell last year even if he was there. -
I went down his rabbit hole last week. He is uber agressive. Plays with a really mean streak. Has a good frame and has already gained 20 lbs since going to college. His knock that I see is his frame isnt big enough yet to be totally effective but most people think his frame is big enough to add another 20. Big athletic dude that is angry. I like

dont forget fat one trick defensive lineman that isnt really good at his one trick -
Taking the "BPA" is the exact reason we are where we are in regards to the oline. We have tried to be cute for too many years in building the line. Its past time to spend a first on a lineman

Glass half full…..we now own the number 6 overall pick

You want to trade down from 6 and only get a 2nd or 3rd in return? You guys are nuts. -
I doubt I will rewatch but it seemed to me he got tripped up more than once being bull rushed.
-
Making a bad trade to try and mask the other bad trade is lol funny. Take your lumps and move on. Don’t try and outsmart yourself. Picking this high is a damn godsend if you do it right.
-
The drop off of sheer talent goes off the cliff around pick 14 ish. Having a pick in the top 6 is gold. So long as you treat it as such and not draft fat defensive lineman and corners.
-
Let me get this straight. You would sit 23 year old Kenny Pickett who has played 5 years of college football? What’s the point of drafting him if he is not going to play? Mahomes is an oddity.

Cam Erving. Matt paradis. Kalil. Pat eflin. John Miller. your turn. Go.
-
Why would they do that?
-
Who the fug are we signing in FA? We literally just fuging did that and it has blown up in our face.......again. Goddamn people what the fug are you watching?
-
How will you know if you are right if Sam Howell or Pickett is getting sacked 8 fuging times a game? I get its the chicken vs egg scenario but mother fuger we havent drafted an olineman in the first round in over a fuging decade and our line has been total poo for the better part of 7 years. I think I see a correlation. There is no other way to fix this mess other than bite the bullet and take the unsexy Lt or whatever. I mean seriously what the fug was the point of taking derrick brown? What were they trying to accomplish there blowing a top pick on a one trick pony that doesnt even do the one trick very well?
-
By my count that would be 4 qb darts in less than 3 years. That would make the Browns say god damn
-
Not really. We didnt have any suitors other than the bears and their deal wasnt good enough and that was with Fields and Jones on the board. Who the fug is giving up a kings ransom at 6 for Kenny fuging pickett? So now we are just going to trade down for the sake of trading down? Its illogical
-
Its a step in the right direction. There is no magical solution to fix the oline. You damn sure cannot do it through FA. Its an organic process and you have to spend high end draft capital to get things started. Something we havent done in over a decade. Its a top heavy draft, evaluate who you want and pick them. Then do the same in the 4rth and so on and so on and so on. fug free agency build the line through the draft and let these dudes work with each other over multiple seasons. Dropping any rooking qb behind this oline would be insanity. However building up the line and then letting the rookie ease in is the way to do it.

not sure if serious

I wish I could quit you

we draft a qb at 6 and then what?

Not to sound redundant but once again we have a high pick and once again this is a top heavy oline draft. I wonder how we fug this up this year? -

For sure but the sack in the 4rth where he got slammed by jordan sealed the deal. He wanted no part of the pressure after that hit. Miller fuged him up -
Doesnt Cam drive a F150?
