  1. I feel we are going to trade down for pennies on the dollar just on general principle
  2. If one of the 3 tackle prospects falls (which I am starting to get leery of that actually happening) you have to take them and just figure it all out later.
  3. Should the Panthers trade down to accumulate picks? Dane, do believe the Panthers should/could trade back in his year’s draft due to the fact that they have only one Top 100 selection this year? — Jared F. Absolutely — if they can. There will be multiple teams looking to trade back this year, but most won’t be able to find a deal because few teams will be looking to trade up. The trades that we do see, they might be for less than usual because that’s the market. Unfortunately just bad luck for the Panthers that this is a year with a lackluster top-10, including no top-tier quarterbacks worth trading up for.
  4. Its frustrating for sure because he should have way more games to look at but Rhule effed that up. To me I would not let his play dictate drafting a tackle if one fell to 6. I think Rhule said as much last week. I just saw BC get manhandled more times then not. Maybe that is correctable for a 25 year old but I am not letting that factor into my draft strategy.

  6. Christenson looked "pretty damn solid"? Uh no. He looked overwhelmed for the most part and Elf was dogshit at center.
  7. For the Love of christ we literally cannot trade Cmac. Its not going to happen this offseason.
  8. Give me a scenario where we are not the worst team in the league next season?
  9. Listen to the interview posted above. Its crystal clear why that motherfuger needs to steer clear of charlotte
  10. That narrative may very well flip due to the examples I just listed. Wilson is the only "short" qb to win the SB and he did that by having an offense that rolled him out and used his mobility. I dont see Howell with anything close to wilsons wheels. Again I am biased as I prefer my qbs with size.
  11. Baker is simply not a good qb. I think his height factors into it a lot. Murray I am 100% sure that his height factors in to his poor play. The Rams just totally locked him down by squeezing the pocket in and making him throw from it. He couldnt see and had a horrific night. Once you stop running its over/ I dont think Howell is a runner just that he has the ability to move if necessary. Time will tell what teams think of him. I would imagine he goes mid teens
  12. I am not "down" on Bryce young per se but godalmighty I guess I didnt realize how small he actually is. Not saying I dont want him but I prefer my qbs just bigger. The Rams just prison raped Murry and the Cardinals by containing him in the pocket and he couldnt see over his line
  13. You're quoting yourself. Yeah homes you high as fug
  14. outside of his interviewing how is he going to rise? I suspect he wont throw at the combine and his measurables will probably leave people with a bit of negativity. He is listed as 6'1 but I would bet dollars to donuts it will be a miracle he hits 6ft. I think at this point for guys like pickett and howell the tape is what it is. I dont see either rising unless one blisters the senior bowl. But Jones did that last year and he actually fell so who the fug knows
  15. Thats like being the tallest midget with this crop of qbs
  16. where are these 3 wins coming from? asking for the same friend
  17. In his interview he leaned into analytics, nutrition, getting the most out his players, athletic evaluations etc. None of that has carried over
  18. I feel the same way. Would be happy with either 3 but damn I am in love with Ikems physicality
  19. IMO Brugler is one of the best if not the best analyst in the business. He sporadically updates his mocks and is more right then wrong it seems. Here is his latest. https://theathletic.com/3075920/2022/01/19/two-round-2022-nfl-mock-draft-dane-bruglers-mock-2-0-has-a-new-no-1-pick-and-more-surprises/ He is really down on the qb class and has pickett going 11. Says Davis Mills would probably be the top guy if he was in the group. I thought initally we would have a choice of 2 of the 3 top tackles but man Ikem is skyrocketing up the boards. Mel Kiper now has him the #1 tackle prospect. Kid is legit 1. Jacksonville Jaguars — Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State 2. Detroit Lions — Aidan Hutchinson, edge, Michigan 3. Houston Texans — Kayvon Thibodeaux, edge, Oregon 4. New York Jets — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU 5. New York Giants — Evan Neal, OT, Alabama 6. Carolina Panthers — Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State If the Panthers strike out on their quarterback options in free agency and on the trade market, this could be the spot where we see the first quarterback drafted. This is Carolina’s only draft pick in the top 100, putting even more pressure on Matt Rhule and the organization to get this selection right. Cross is talented enough to be OT1 on some team’s draft boards. He has the athleticism and movement patterns to be comfortable pass-blocking on an island, and his hands are well-timed and precise. Cross should be able to start from day one as a rookie.
