I know what you are saying but if he has had what 3 surgeries on said knee and the last one is replacing cartilage. I most certainly without a shadow of a doubt say his knee is not getting better and in fact getting worse. Making it arthritic and degenerative. But we will find out come combine time.

I pull for whoever is the qb on this team. Cam, Darnold, Teddy, Cam, Howell, Pickett, Willis etc. But there is no way in hell I will ever pull for my team if that ass clown Cousins is under center. There is a lot of speculation in that article. But the big thing to me is the doctor is comparing the surgery to non nfl players. What is considered a success or if the knee will "hold up" is drastically different for a guy thats going to play professional football.

Not really a guess as he is getting a cadaver cartilage in his knee which tells me it arthritic and degenerative. Adding to the fact that his knee already has scar tissue and it swells during the season I just think once this stuff is looked at during the combine he is going to drop like a rock.

For sure yeah, but at the time Brees just had shoulder surgery and it wasnt degenerative like Strongs knee. Miami should have signed him but at the time he failed like 2 physicals because of his shoulder and wanted a ton of money from miami. At least that is how I remember it

I think the combine is going to do wonders for his draft stock. He is going to put up crazy numbers and a team in the top 5 will be blown away with his athleticism

The odds of getting a competent starter at QB in the draft from the 4rth round on are minuscule. Its a wasted pick.

Like I said, I wouldnt be comfortable taking him at 6 for this draft but there are enough "okay that works" throws that I will be watching more of him next year. He is lethal in the mid range throws. And on top of that he seems to be athletic. And in regards to next years crop there just seems to be way more volume of potential studs that are on the on deck circle. There are like 10 legit guys that scouts are already talking about so motherfuger build the line this year and be in a spot where we can grab one and move on down the road in 2023.
