Corral in the 3rd is perfect for him and this class. We should know relatively soon if the kid is worth a poo and if not its easy to pull the plug. You simply cannot do that if he is a first, way too messy and more times then not teams will still try to force him to work therefor fuging up your teams timeline.

Holy fug that would have been a disaster. NFL scouts obviously see some major major issues with Howell and these guys

Not to pick nits but partying in college is a bit different then what he has admitted to. He had/has a problem with alcohol. Thats one of the concerns Ian is referring to. You can spin it anyway you want but the concerns are real. That said its just a 3rd/4rth and is easy to move off of if something comes up

Look man I am going to pull for him but people cannot be really questioning why some folks have an issue with this pick. For starters I dont get the moving up part at all. We are just not a patient franchise. They cannot help themselves. On to Corral, there were some major red flags in his game coming from a one read short throw RPO system. We just do not know how limited his game is at this point. His deep balls are a bit wonky as well. Kiffen never really put the ball in his hands and let him go to work. Then you look at his frame and wince thinking about lineman getting after him. And finally his lockerroom leadership skills are also in question to go with some red flags in his character history. Its all been discussed in numerous threads. I think all in all its pretty obvious this qb class on the whole is dogshit and the collective NFL are all waiting on next years crop because of the rave reviews its already getting. But you know we panicked as usual. But hey man I am pulling for him, I hope it works out but the odds are not in favor of a 3rd round guy working out.
