  1. Kenny Pickett has had a world class horrible camp by all accounts. Pitt is currently playing so lets see how they handle him for this game. Lets see what a real coaching staff does with a rookie qb who has been struggling
  2. If Rhule is doing all of this for trade value for PJ and/or sam then he is dumber then I initially thought. Nobody is trading for either player, it just isnt going to happen. Its almost like he has never paid attention to the NFL before he came here. I cannot wait for tepper to can his ass and we get a legit NFL offensive mind who knows how to develop players
  3. I would have to go back and look but instead of darnold in year 2 he had his pick of jones or fields (who I wanted). He could have bought himself crazy time by say picking fields and then sitting him for a year. He would then have at least 2 more seasons and who knows past that. edit- just looked at the 2020 qb draft ooofff that is ugly edit again to say - I am not suggesting sitting fields, I think he can play, just saying rhule could have done this and nobody would have batted an eye.
  4. Yeah thats what historically has gotten him in trouble, sure he is great with the deep ball but this is the nfl if you throw into double coverage more times then not you are going to regret it
  5. But he is fast enough to deal with them once he sees it enough dude is big, strong, fast and best of all...................mean
  6. it was a fitt pick but rhule is clearly mismanaging the situation. I mean can anyone really debate that?
  7. thats where you are wrong. Rhule had the contract and the goodwill to do something like this 3 years ago. Instead the dumb motherfuger thought our roster was good enough to win and..........well you know the rest of the story. Certain situations can be baked in for a guy to take his lumps but like you say they at least have to play to take said lumps. In short rhule had golden opportunity with his 7 year deal but like most things he totally fuged it up
  8. So are you saying the staff knew Willis and Howell were more ready to play then corral but if we develop MC he will be better then both? Because thats kindof what it feels like you are saying in a round a bout way. If thats the case then I am not sure why we are trading draft capital for someone like that when in hindsight it appears we simply could have waited and drafted him
  9. I dont think its that easy to simply "coach up" and develop them. Just like your last post says its incredibly rare a guy past the top 40 (not sure why you picked 40) to hit. If developing a qb was a thing more teams would be doing it as good franchise qbs are the rarest things on earth For the most part you either have it or you dont. This is in no way degrading Corral just saying in general. Scott was there when Wilson came in and literally just took the starting job so who knows, or at least I would hope he knows what it looks like and if MC has it he needs to be turning the screws on Rhule
  10. jake led a second half comeback in his first appearance. Dude showed moxie from the get go
  11. he had one really really bad play, so bad it may get baker killed but the rest he was an animal. I will go and rewatch his snaps at some point in the week but from what I watched he as a mauler
  12. You are making my point about allen, even if he wasnt ready to play in his first year he did, and not only that he built on it Mahomes could have played in his first season without a doubt, he had the best qb coach in probably history. I am saying using rodgers as an example is extreme as it was 20 years ago and the brett farve angle but the larger point is the vast majority of nfl qbs that are good simply came in and started pretty much from teh jump. as to your last point, after this training camp and after this game I have zero faith rhule knows what the fug he is doing
  13. I wish we had media members with a nutsack that would grill rhule with some hard questions.
  14. Nah I still think we end right where vegas has us at and we have a shot at one of the top guys We are still a couple of drafts away from being a good team. As we saw today our depth is LOL funny
  15. thats the concerning part for me How the fug are willis and howell (fug it add ridder to the list) looking light years better then MC. Not just in regards to this game but in practice as well
  16. not being overly critical because I did want him in the draft but he has to correct a few things, the stupid ball slap he does before he throws is crazy and he has a wild tendency to put touch on the pass only to have it become a duck. But i was impressed with his scrambling and decision making today. Like I said at worst he is a good back at best..........we fuged up
  17. Allen played out of the gate Mahomes could have played his rookie year, there are articles during it which the vets had their jaws on the ground with what he was doing Rodgers was damn near 20 years ago there are exceptions to the rule but mainly if you can play get your ass out there and play. Do yourself a favor and go down the nfl qb roster and see how many started out of the gate in their first year
  18. so the cliff notes version of your post is : rhule is a moron I can get on board with that
  19. I think if we have our usual bout with injuries and with rhule coaching we def are eyeballing a top 10 pick
