I think thats the point, the staff knows he cant do what we need him to do. I mean its clear as day he fuging sucks. For the past 3 games he has tried like hell to turn the ball over and has been saved by the grace of God, its just a matter of time

Attacking “glass half full” posters after a loss…
mrcompletely11 replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its not really a new strategy. Its simply dont do stupid poo like trade for darnold, sign teddy, trade for baker, trade for henderson etc and build your team and qb through the draft. Its a time tested method in the nfl. We have been trying to cut corners for the past 3 years and its blown up in our face. Stop doing stupid poo, its that simple. Scout the fuging players and make smart fuging choices. -

exactly, thanks for this. And it was evidenced by how frustrated the team was getting all game. Tomlin and his staff put on a clinic. -

Smith is the aberration and not the norm. Out of your list I would go Brissett-minshew 2 or 3 year deal and then draft a guy in the first. To your second point, as I have said 2x today now, I think a qb like Stroud wins the nfcs next year. I think he is the perfect game manager type that is smart enough to play as a rookie and do reasonably well -

How do you get that from my post? That’s not what I am even remotely saying. -

Thats 2 different things. They didnt quit but they certainly were out hustled, out coached and didnt have any sense of urgency. The oline in particular and most certainly brown and burns. The pff grades are going to be interesting once they start dropping. -

No offense to you as I know what you are saying and where you are going with it but seriously fug PJ Walker and majorly fug sam darnold. Back ups or not we have to do better then that. Darnold is dog poo and walker needs to hit the xfl. Whether its fitt or whoever and with a new coaching staff I just simply cannot envision a scenario where we dont take a qb in the first or trade up to 2 to get one. At some point you just have to do it instead of kicking the can down the road. Will that qb fail, probably but you have to at least try and with a new coaching staff the timeline matches up nicely -
Pickens is a rookie wr that had 2 catches yesterday and 40 on the year. Johnson is a good wr but you telling me he is that much better then horn. Naw man we were out coached big time yesterday. My hot take for this monday is I would seriously trade 3 firsts for Tomlin, give him a 10 year deal if he was interested in changing jobs. Dude is a legend

I get your point but when there is only one qb that is signed for next year and he is hurt, something has to be done. Come hell or high water we are drafting a qb and more then likely we are going to be reaching big time for him. And quite honestly I could see fitt or whoever taking multiple qbs in the draft depending on how it falls and how MC is doing come april. They have to infuse the qb room with more talent and what they have been doing simply isnt working. -

Exactly. Seeing this team do some of the most stupidest poo known to man just solidifies how fuging moronic this franchise is from top to bottom and we need (another) hard reset after just 3 years. We cannot fire the owner unfortunately but he damn will could clean house and hopefully get it right. I could easily list the number of fug ups we have endured in that short time but most of you already know them. -

No. It doesn't work like that -
Ive said all year, qb aside, that we are 2 drafts away from having a top tier nfl roster. Our needs in now certain order: Linebacker edge corner safety wr te and probably keeep sprinkling oline depth in there as well

When you have a qb like trevor anything is possible. When you have a qb like Darnold the inevitable happens
