Fit and Morgan: SHOULD they stay?

We know for a fact he handled the trade compensation for both. -
Fit and Morgan: SHOULD they stay?

What you say makes sense. I guess I could google some articles about Beanes time here in Charlotte but there were tangible reasons he was well liked. There were receipts to his work and that was why people were pissed when he left. -
Fit and Morgan: SHOULD they stay?

He overpaid for Darnold in spades, and as it stands today you could argue the same for Baker. Dude is absolutely horrible and is showing why he was so "cheap" and literally no other team wanted him. -
Fit and Morgan: SHOULD they stay?

Hence my original question, what exactly has he done to garner such praise? All I can gather from articles is he is a grinder and really hard work, often compared to his playing days. Not sure how that translates to running a franchise -

Fit and Morgan: SHOULD they stay?

I get all the accolades and his past work but I guess I should have asked what specifically has he done to garner so much high praise? Because to me it just seems like people like him because he is a hard worker. Please note I have no knowledge either way about the situation just that we can look at our own fitts as someone who got mad praise for his time in Seattle but is tripping on his dick here. -

Re: On if it was important for Coach Rhule not to leave without an agreement. "Again, it's kind of like I said, there's those certain interviews when you leave and you just get that feeling that hey, this is the guy, this is the guy. So, let's not go any further and try to get this done. Mr. Tepper and Steven (Drummond) were both on board. So, we worked immediately to try to get it done, and we got it. It was a feeling that all three of us had that you did get a feeling. Julie, his wife, was terrific. He's right, I ate about 20 meatballs (laughter), but it was just a great feeling. I think when you have that – and you can see by listening to him here. He's got such a vision, just a very shared vision. Sitting there – I spend a lot of time with a head coach talking things out. Basically during these interviews, I'd sit there and it's like I approach it like – we're in my office and we're talking about the team, and we're talking about things we have to work, and you have to work through a lot of hard things, and you have to be able to sit down and disagree. At the end, you got to be able to stay in the room until you get an agreement and walk out on the same page of what's best for the organization. It was very obvious that we could do that." https://www.panthers.com/news/transcript-marty-hurney-on-the-start-of-the-matt-rhule-era I think Tepper talks about marty insisting that rhule is guy and to get a contract done

obviously not but for the most part when you draft a qb in the first you want a vet to help guide them. See Josh allen and derek anderson. I dont think you will find many examples of first round pick getting backed up by a qb drafted the previous year. Especially a developmental one and coming off serious injury. Look what happened to mond this year
-
I doubt it. He will not be able to practice until training camp and if we draft a qb in the first a new staff will most likely get a vet to help guide him. Having a 3rd round undersized qb that hasnt played on the roster just isnt going to happen no matter what his costs. And I seriously doubt a new staff is going to carry 3 qbs.

Whelp he is here for another week.
mrcompletely11 replied to TLGPanthersFan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good. I hope he stays the entire year -
Iirc hurney really really like rhule and begged tepper to hire him
-
Corral will not be on this roster with a new staff.
-
Wasn’t hurney emphatic that tepper not leave until rhule said yes?

Oof poundaway has an impressive run in here as well the baker love was off the charts back in the summer. We tried to warn you
-
Young at 5'10 180lbs should scare the bejesus out of nfl teams
-
Young scares the hell out of me. Stroud is crazy good. I watched Levis on Sat and I cannot figure out what the knocks on him are. Too old? McCall is putting together an insane level season as well. We stay in the top 5 then we will have options. After the meat of this upcoming schedule I think we will know if #1 pick is obtainable.
-
Baker has this weird thing with his feet right before throws. He does a little bounce/jump. Where in the hell that came from I dont know but his footwork is horrible and I dont see that getting fixed anytime soon
-
Ive thought all along this was a 6ish win team. Now I am not so sure we can even get that
-
she held up a lot better then I expected. The other one is still an absolute smokeshow as well
