oh you mean the game they played in the fuging monsoon? Goddamn you are a fuging joke
-
Yep thats why I think its good timing with a new coach and a rookie qb. Their timelines are on the same page. Might as well get a new gm to complete the trifecta
-
I think a guy like Fields should have sat last year and I feel he would have exploded on the scene this year with a year of seasoning and a good coach to guide him. Nagy tried to ruin him last year

Is Burns really worth backing up a Brinks truck?
mrcompletely11 replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ellis and billy went through this past draft and singled out guys drafted later then burns that give equal or almost equal production. Burns aint that good relative to the trade offer -
Brugler: Next year's quarterbacks "not universally loved"
mrcompletely11 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
He would be one of the biggest and fastest qbs in the league from the jump and would have a top 3 arm. He had some incredible throws on Sat but for the most part he is godawful inaccurate -
Brugler: Next year's quarterbacks "not universally loved"

I have said AR will be our pick since the utah game. The timing of him and a new coach that has time to develop him match up perfectly as well as our draft position at 5ish. However I honestly dont know how I feel about this. Have to wait multiple years a la Allen to hopefully get them where they can start and win games is going to be a long process -

We go from 40 years to a decade ago. Well done. -

who is the generational talent in this draft -
Top 10 qbs are handed the job for the most part. No injured undersized 3rd round pick is going to compete with them. Thats just not how it works and LOL at saying Lance was abysmal. Goddamn you are a complete joke

This is not a hard and fast rule. Some players can start as a rookie and develop where others its probably clear they need a bit of bench time. But on the whole if they can play they can play. I dont think it hurt guys like cam, allen etc to take their lumps from day 1.

hot takes are on the menu this morning

There is so much wrong with this post its insane
-
They will never ever get 2 firsts and a second for burns again
-
blah blah blah

Getting a shot for what? Like Growl says, if/when we draft a guy in the first he is going to be giving the reigns. He will at worst split the first team reps with a vet and MC will just get the scraps. No sane team puts their first round qb in a competition.

I would hire Reich and not give it a second thought. At the very very worst he brings this franchise and offense in particular up to the NFL average with very little risk.
