  1. He clearly doesn’t understand what we are explaining to him
  2. expectations/dreams are completely different then reality. Simply having high expectations for your football team isnt magically going to elevate them.
  3. Yeah, I will take your word for it, and again this is why I dont gamble, if you randomly asked me what i thought the spread should be for week 1 knowing what we know (rookie qb, new 3-4, new coach, on the road etc) I would say Panthers +6 But I dont know poo about gambling
  4. Last year was an aberration, not sure why you cannot understand that. In the past decade the nfc south winner has won double digit games all but 2 times. Last year and us in 2014. There has never been a wild card team with single digit wins in 20 years. So unless you truly think this team can win 11-12 games then I would not hold my breath on the playoffs. I just hope to see progression and competency for this team and staff. In closing last year was a complete aberration and not anywhere close to the norm.
  5. 1 or 2 off the wildcard would be almost as good as making the super bowl with this squad. That would be a hell of a season
  6. expectations and reality are 2 totally different things 9 wins isnt getting us a wild card
  7. spread is still us +3 which I truly dont understand which is why I dont gamble
  8. we will have some serious $ to spend, no first but enough draft capital and $ to fortify things.
  9. I'll post again for context. Sure 9 wins could get us a wildcard but the odds are not in our favor In the past decade the nfc south winner has won double digit games all but 2 times.
  10. You are looking at things in a vacuum my man. I get your frustration but if you cannot see that we actually have a solid plan in place for this organization then thats on you. But if we trip on our dicks this year and next I will be you bitching partner, I just dont think that is in the cards right now. Win 7 games in 2023 and build a foundation for winning
  11. This should be pinned to the top Its basically as simple as that. Expecting to win the division and then crying when it doesnt happen is fuging idiotic. And for the record I think if things go accordingly 2024 is when we make a huge move. Fix the damn defense, develop some wrs and then make it happen in the nfc
  12. And we have brand new shoes, brand new clothes and a brand new course to run. We have to break all of that in and its going to take time.
  13. Reasonable take. This year was all about progression. Having unreal expectations and then bitching about it is completely on you. A satisfactory year in 2023 is not about wins and losses its about implementing and improving on defensive and offensive schemes and improvement by our young players
  14. lol Their starting rb got 20 yards rushing (26 total) on one fuging drive. Starters or not thats impressive and telling. But tell yourself whatever you need to to take away what they looked like. Which is much much better then us. And I have been calling atl winning the division for at least a month
  15. their first team rb (robinson) was 4-20 with a 12 yard on his first carry. How are you missing that? Their running game is going to be the staple of that team and they showed that (briefly) last night. Something I wish we could have done in the past 2 games
  16. Playoff talk and winning the division expectations is moronic. Most level headed posters see this team as a 7-8 win team. Kindof right in line with what vegas money thinks. Expecting playoffs with a piss poor defense and rookie qb is not realistic
  17. We can agree to disagree, he throw it on the outside shoulder away from the defender 1 minute in and preseason or not their run game looked fine tuned
  18. See the bengals game last year as exhibit A
  19. The run game looked awesome, riddler had a nice throw on 3 and 12. Robinson is going to be a problem, big problem. And the pick was a tipped ball by the wr, a good throw by riddler All in all their first team offense looked worlds better then us.
  20. From what I gather they opened the offense up on the opening drive and promptly marched down the field. Something I wish we did
