  1. I think with walker you have a pretty stable and decent floor. With some of the others the floor is lower but yeah the ceiling is the roof. We just cant risk that as a franchise at this point
  2. Yeah I know, it would have to be like a first next year, a first in 2027, 2nd in 2026 and maybe a 4rth or something this year. 21 to 8 is a long way to move. Maybe this is true I dont know, its lying season. https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/steelers/2025/04/02/2025-nfl-draft-espn-analyst-touts-shedeur-sanders-to-the-steelers/82779647007/ According to ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller, Sanders should want to play for the Steelers and him making it that far would be a good thing for him and for Pittsburgh. Miller points to the Steelers run game and offensive line as reasons Sanders should want to play in Pittsburgh. Those are both fairly arguable points but the run game is going to need a serious overhaul after Najee Harris left in free agency. He also notes that Sanders is a good fit with head coach Mike Tomlin. If the Steelers do decide to target Sanders, they would almost certainly have to trade up ahead of the New Orleans Saints at a minimum. If the Steelers think he's the answer, it would be an expensive move to go up and get him. For you guys keeping score at home, Saints are at 9, your carolina panthers 8. Probably not feasible for either team but there is certainly a way to thread the needle and making it happen. But it would have to be a poo load of capital and maybe a player or 2. Maybe minka?
  3. I think the steelers would kill to get sanders in the building. Problem is dropping down to 21 without a bryce like haul isnt worth it
  4. I have been under the assumption that if he blows out his pro day right before the draft he will never make it to 8. If that is the case hopefully graham falls
  5. If we dont draft a rb this year then motherfuger that would be frustrating

  7. Outside of trading for an established guy or lucking out and getting a ladd type at 57, then I think this is the best its going to get for 2025. They best pray that XL takes a huge step because those wrs are not scaring anyone. I really dont see a guy we can get late in the 2nd thats going to have an substantial impact for next season. The DJ moore trade is still haunting us. So fuging stupid by fitt and crew
  8. saints and jags need line help especially the saints so I dont know, I just dont think this is a draft that will have a lot of movement. Would be cool to see sanders drop and maybe someone moves for him
  9. The Athletic Football pod suggested that San fran may want to move up for a tackle and we could maybe go to 11 and pick up a couple of mid round picks. I dont really follow san fran too much but I guess they are in need of oline help
  10. I am not getting the guys wanting warren. Canales system doesnt utilize TE and Bryce doesnt throw consistently to tight ends, this is dating back to his bama days And until we bring him in for a top 30 visit then its really not going to happen. I doubt we can trade back from 8 so I would just go Walker for the defense assuming he is still there
  11. sure but I think the intangibles with Walker (leadership, lockerroom etc) will bring benefits even if he doesnt completely excel on the field.
  12. No offense but that makes no sense for seattle to give that much up for a guard or right tackle. There will be options for them at 18
  13. xl is 24 and if we dont draft a rb in this draft then we should fuging revolt. So many top tier talents that will be going in the 3rd and 4rth
  14. not to look too far ahead but the 2026 qb class looks far better then 2025
  15. saints gonna suck dude, same with pats and the jets we should be favored in 3 of those 4 at least. If not then just shut it down
  16. I can count 7 wins easily, but again a part of me wonders what tepper does if we only hit 5. saints x2 falcons 1 seattle 1 pats 1 jets 1 jags 1
  17. Panthers 6.5 Damn for the first time in forever I think we easily get that, our schedule is ridiculously easy https://www.espn.com/espn/betting/story/_/id/44029057/2025-nfl-betting-season-win-totals-projections-standings-all-32-teams
  18. I make a mean onion/bacon mustard sauce
  19. The demented side of me wonders what Tepper does if we only win 5 games next year. That said I think we hit 7/8 rather easily
