  1. better have jesus on speed-dial!
  2. Got to throw Mingo’s name in the hat
  3. oh they have a superstar personality…
  4. I’ll go ahead and get my poo boots on.. Anthony Richardson #1 Overall. You’re at one, you swing for the fences. The staff is great by all accounts! They are however, working together as a unit for the first time. It may take them a year or two to hit their stride. Get the guy to grow with then! Despite the current obsession with rankings, there is no guarantee you get any player at any spot unless you have the #1. RE: Fitter: “conviction, get your guy, hold my beer ” Don’t over think it. We get the young super stud with the massive ceiling who may indeed bust. Accept the risk, throw out you baby blanket and dare to be great! Who’s with me? #unpopularopinions #bringoutthepoocanon
  5. First, Not in any of the QB camps. I AM A PANTHERS FAN. In regards to this whole QB debacle, it is my opinion, sometimes in life you have to roll the dice to get rewarded. I try and avoid the “safe” play if the name of the game is “win.” #opinion
  6. An 80% grey logo and stripes on those with blue stitching would be sharp
  7. THIS. I had a massive issue with the blue heavy “all black” uniforms. Folks were sooooo stoked to finally get black helmets.. but man those were a massive miss IMO. Big XFL vibes. We need to be murdered out.
  8. Agreed. All these scenarios have several assumptions baked in. “You could just get Richardson at 9” - there is literally no way to know that. Like fit said, if you like a guy you go get him. Can’t overstate the value of controlling our own destiny.
  9. Foreman 6’0” 235lbs 26yo 43 games/ 5 seasons Career 4.3 ypc 12 TDs 23/31 235 rec yards Previously Torn Achilles Sanders 5’11” 211lbs 25yo 57 games/ 4 seasons Career 5.0 ypc 23TDs 124/175 942 rec yards
  10. We have Chubba for roughly 1M/yr for the next two years. Truly loved Foreman as a panthers and was happy he has found some success. But the real questions is this, was foreman 4x better on the field? 2x better? Like everyone else, I’ll be very interested to see how he and his agent answer that question.
  11. Is it possible to make a sub-thread called “rough n rowdy” or something like that, where mods can move personal beefs and taunting between folks out of these panthers news threads?
  12. Tepper isn't on board either. There has been a consistent.. tone lets say of not letting players call the shots. Reiterated in Reich’s response to players wanting artificial turf removed in his intro presser. “The players are important and we love them but leadership is driving the bus” (or something like that) We couldn’t even tolerate Chosen Anderson’s ego - not sure how well Lamar would be received.
  13. They make a cream for that. Speaking of getting burned.. trading up to 3 and passing on AR (if he's there) then going Levis.. that one might sting.
  14. 100% agree. Whats sticks out to me most. Its a reasonable (all be it petty) reaction from a 20 y/o kid. But some of these more recent stories about his behavior indicate he hasn't really matured. All these years later, he’s still a one-man-wolfpack. Glad he doesn’t claim the pack, wouldn't want him on my team.
  15. Hmm.. he did transfer from NC State b/c his coach was “inhibiting his ability to attain personal accolades” or whatever that was
  16. Not to put the cart in front of the proverbial horse. But, my initial thought is.. the next head coach of the Carolina Panthers is already on staff.
  17. Is there an option where we absolutely grab a QB, but if we miss on Stroud at 1.09 we take best player available and get another QB in a later round? Opinion: No doubt we need to add a young QB to develop (along with Matt C.) in this system with all this coaching everyones hyped on, but does it have to be QB at 1.09 or higher at all costs? If BPA is a QB fine, but lets not box ourselves in lads!
  18. Fair enough. Definitely like Johnson’s trajectory, probably my 1A. Ya.. that whole window thing was awkward to say the least, had forgotten that honestly. Staff is rounding out well, either would be ok with me. I think if Jim Bobs the guy Reich and Duce will be more involved.
  19. In regards to “younger talent” Jim Bob Cooter - 38 years old Brain Johnson - 35 years old admittedly Jim Bob does have an 82 y/o front porch get-off-my-lawn-type ring to it
