  1. NOT SORRY EVEN A LITTLE, LFG WOLFPACK! BEEN A LOOONG TIME #GoPack
  2. Awesome breakdown! I think you’re on it with TE being a much large issue than is currently being discussed. The Payton Wilson fans (of which I am one, gopack!) will be disappointed but I really think LB is way down on the priority list for the team. Seems clear this regime has a clear plan and that is beef up the offense side of the ball. Thanks for taking time to put that together!
  3. I agree, now is now. Something better may have been coming over the horizon, I think its a fair point. Hopefully the FO has an idea of the market, it definitely wasn't two 1st per OP. Bird in the hand and all that aside, I think moving him was necessary for the cap implications and I’m really not sure he wanted to be here, and that is vital to the culture.
  4. A couple thoughts.. Implied value is not value, value is what someone is willing to pay for something. Now is not then. No one was offering us more than what we got for Burns, including the Rams. We could not afford Burns (who didnt want to be here) with out hamstringing our rebuild.
  5. Seems like mixed opinions. But this is an overall good move for the future of the franchise. 1. The Rams trade was once in a lifetime, that is the past. 2. We couldn’t afford him. 3. He didn't want to be here. Outcome: He would ultimately half ass it to not get injured, break the bank and cripple our rebuild in the process. The truth hurts but this had to happen.
  6. Agree with this 100%. Set the tone as an organization, let the chips fall where they may. Morgans wants dogs..if the puppies start whining show them the door. All this empower the players ish got us a bunch of whiney entitled softserve drama queens.
  7. Love hearing Smitty monologue but who is this dude always with him in these clips??? I feel like even smitty is looking at this dude like STFU when he tries to say more than a handful of words
  8. I feel like the urge for a stud WR or offensive playmaker is at its core just a way to prove Bryce wasn't a bust. Thats a trap we need to avoid at all cost. If those two things are not mutually exclusive (BPA & WR) great, we have a swisscheesey roster. Got to go BPA * also not saying bryce IS a bust, and we DO need better help at WR/OL… take away is the good teams let the draft develop ahead of them and work within that.
  9. Soooo no, no word on training plans. Was kind of hoping him and Mingo were bunkered down doing some sort of extra gravity hyperbolic chamber DBZ training retreat. (shrugs)
  10. Any word on Bryce’s personal or team structured off season training? I feel like there is usually some buzz but haven’t seen anything on the subject
  11. Franklin and Tremble are good additions to this conversation
  12. This isn't Waffle House. The man signed a contract. When the contracts up he can negotiate for another one. Also - loads of regular folks sign NDAs and noncompetes, those aren't a joke either.
  13. I don’t disagree, and that is what gives me a little heartburn as well. The jump from right-hand-man to THE man is not a small jump however. Dan knows what this culture/team can look like. He sat front row while it turned to sh*t (and I’m not trying to absolve him of responsibility) I think its the opposite, I think that gives him a sense of ownership in the problem at hand. I truly think he is the guy best positioned to get it back where we, as fans, want to see it.
  14. well thats a thought…or we could be like that grown Bills fan, openly weeping on the broadcast after last nights L
  15. not coming at anyone here - for real, arguing on here is wild. but honest question why do so many assume everyone on staff is responsible equally for the state of affairs? If your boss or others in your company are doing things poorly wouldn't some of the lower level guys with a front row seat have a realistic idea of what should change. or am I the only one thinking this way? thanks for reading
  16. Woah dude, wasn’t trying to throw poo on anyone. Just think there is a tendency to want to burn everything down at time like this and its often a little more complicated than that. We can disagree without it being a personal attack - I think we have agreed on other points.
  17. This was my impression as well. The mob is ever fickle. Especially when the individuals don't have control, have been traumatized & are fearful.
  18. watching fox, they just said the lions haven't won a playoff game since 1991… that could be us kids, we may be 5 years into a 30+year slump..
  19. im with it thats the hotness i feel like you just need a touch of blue in those things for them still be very blue
  20. I mean… i feel your anger at football. But I’m just commenting on the uniforms all love
  21. I know everyone wanted these for a long time.. but man like many things lately, i think we missed the mark on these.. We need more black - dark grey on black like a stalking panther. That blue will POP with just a little blue accent. Solid black pants, loose the big double stripe on the helmet. We need to look *tough* in black not like some junior variant power rangers villains alright im done. keeppounding <3
  22. Whenever I read these I think “you don’t mean that!” I can’t speak for you but, man I hope you don’t! tough timezkeep pounding
  23. I think (hope) its just for fun. Fans need something fun to talk about. If we had any bright spots including but not limited to; good young players, savy veteran players, longshot playoff potential, a speculative first round draft pick or promising coaches(?)… people would probably talk about those things.
