  1. I'm wondering if Icky is as bad of a fit for the scheme as Bozeman was. There's no room for him to start at guard, and it sounds like BC is moving to the left tackle spot.
  2. I mean if he made that deal he's not making the picks. Wasn't it this year and next year's draft for the 1sts? So in a weird way, it kind of proves Scott right for not taking the deal. He didn't survive long enough even with keeping Brian Burns on the roster. If he dumped him for picks we certainly aren't doing any better last year.
  3. If anyone can get next year's defense from 32nd to 22nd its Evero though.
  4. The 2nd part is honestly the most concerning thing. Pretty much all GMs have a bias for the present, but how much more are we discounting the future because Tepper is impatient?
  5. If he doesn't turn it around, we're getting more value out of him as a tank commander than a 6th round pick. A competent backup could easily mess that up.
  6. Given the situation, I agree with the approach though. Invest in the offense to see if you have anything at QB. And if you don't, you have a much better situation for the next QB to walk into. It's kind of worthless to spend money on defense in today's game if you don't have a functional offense as a prerequisite. I mean what are your options? 1. Extend Burns, Luvu, Chinn etc and run it back next year. 2. Panic bandaid the QB position with someone like Kirk Cousins or Justin Fields. 3. Do what they did.
  7. If they actually roll into the season with Sam Darnold lmao
  8. The fact that everyone hates this makes me think it might be good. Maybe the compensation wasn’t enough, but the real win is avoiding giving a corner stone contract to a player that’s not worth it.
  9. And if not Bryce, any young QB is gonna benefit from a safety valve
  10. I just hope he's good and stays healthy. If thats the case, its okay he cost a lot.
  11. Provided Cousins can stay healthy I think the bigger question mark is Raheem Morris. We already know Dennis Allen can't coach. If Morris can, then they could definitely win the division with 9 or 10 wins.
  12. Of course they're not winning a Super Bowl. That's another stratosphere from being able to win the worst division in the NFL.
  13. The Falcons would have won significantly more games if they had a decent QB. Would not be surprised to see them take this weak division at all. We're terrible. Saints are not very good and don't have a good coach. Bucs are mediocre at best.
  14. I'd put the Falcons as the clear favorites to win the division now.
  15. I will never blame anyone for taking a job where they are overpaid. I would do the exact same thing.
  16. This regime might be a complete flop but I’d rather see them build the team they need for what they want to do than force players that don’t fit into it.
  17. The one time they intentionally tanked Steve Wilks won a bunch of games with Sam Darnold throwing 10 passes a game lol. Actually the most successful period under Tepper.
  18. I guess they don’t see Bozeman as a fit for the offense.
