Jason Pierre-Paul’s fireworks supply

Its a shame his best years were on some terrible Charlotte teams. He really didn't have much success after leaving either. That was surprising to me.

2024 Carolina Panthers record prediction
PNW_PantherMan replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I admire some of the optimism, but I'm going with 2-4 wins. Anything beyond that is overachieving for next season. It's really a recovery year for us. Maybe we can get lucky and have a few things work out along the way. -
If we don't have at least serviceable play at center, the guard signings are not going to be as effective. I assumed they would draft one.

I felt like suing after paying for Sunday Ticket to watch last year's team. What a rip.

NFL front offices value winning NOW because if they don't, they won't be around later. That's really the takeaway. It's not unique to Scott Fitterer. That's why the Rams made the insane offer in the first place. That's why they've gone after almost every player they've acquired in the last 5-6 years. They don't care about picks. They're trying to win today.

It was dumb to turn that down from the teams perspective. But Fitterer doesn’t survive to see either of those 1sts even with Burns on the roster. I doubt if he trades him Teppers like let this guy cook for another couple years lol. He didn’t do it because he knew it wasn’t in his best interest as general manager. That’s kind of the unfortunate reality a lot of the time.

The Panthers have a true magician on the team

I should buy his jersey. Would put an end to that. -
Has anyone here ever met David Tepper in person?

I mean the team sucks and hasn't done much of anything right the last 6 years. I'm not going to defend them on really anything else. I just think part of the problem in the Rhule years was bringing in these low level starters and trying to become mediocre immediately. We really needed to be taking shots early in the draft on QBs in those years. Going full ride or die on Bryce this year is the right call. Even if they suck at picking QBs and building rosters and are terrible human beings. -

I'm not against building up the roster. If Bryce is as bad as he was last year, it won't matter how good the roster is. That level of QB play will suck everyone down and lock you into a top 3 pick. I just don't think there's any purpose in bringing in some bottom 10 starting QB to win a few extra games in that scenario. That makes sense for a team that already has a QB and needs a backup. It doesn't make sense for the worst team in the league going into year 2 with Bryce Young. It's the culture argument from the Wilks/Darnold finish. We need a QB worth building around. There's no getting around it. -
Setting a reminder to bump this in 22 years.
