He became a mushroom merchant in his post playing days. https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/from-nfl-quarterback-to-mushroom-farmer-jake-plummers-journey-from-the-gridiron-to-the-fields-of-fort-lupton/

I bet they were planning on Andy doing the bulk of preseason work.
-
Yeah I think he really could have benefited from having an OC he trusted. He wasn't even an OC long enough to get established in that role. You gotta set yourself up for success the best you can. Our owner isn't gonna make sure that happens.

That's all the the pie I had left. Here's a bump. Get well soon.

Its more important to focus on the bottom half of the worst roster in football.
-
Fields just isn’t consistent enough as a passer. Doesn’t make the right reads often enough.

I think you’re really onto it here. We really lack veteran leadership. I said it elsewhere but Pete Carrol had veterans to keep players accountable while he was in Seattle. It’s almost like a good cop bad cop dynamic. I don’t know that we have the leaders for that kind of coaching.

Not all players who show flashes of talent end up being good. But all good players have flashed at some point. So that kind of illustrates the Venn diagram or whatever. Just because Milton looked impressive for a couple plays doesn’t mean he’ll be any good. It doesn’t even mean he’ll make a roster. But, a player who has never looked impressive will never be good. See TMJ and basically everyone else we’ve drafted after the first round.

PFF grades: vs Patriots Best and worst
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I had high hopes for him as a utility lineman that could play G/C. But he just doesn't seem like he has it at the pro level. -
Milton is a 6th round pick who arguably flashed more times in less than a quarter of preseason action than our first overall pick did his entire rookie season. Thats the issue. Yeah Milton's probably never going to be a starter. He's 24 years old and he has a metric poo ton to improve to be viable. He has to figure it out before he gets too far past his physical peak. Time is not on his side. You can say its the grass is always greener on the other side, but ya know.. sometimes it is really greener.

I was not aware, but he was probably the worst guard in the NFL last year. So I am shocked. -

He got completely left in the dust but that route was sick for only a few minutes left in the 4th of a preseason game. -

Probably the most surprising performance. That dude was dog poo last year. -
Waiver Wire Black Friday: Which players might become available?
PNW_PantherMan replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jack Plummer should be available. -
He's just a 6'5 body. He really didn't show anything that would make you want to even stash him on the PS.
-
Understood, but Luton could run 2 plays better than Plummer could run any of them. Bad roster construction.

I will always defend Kerry because he was our first drafted QB, and his coach failed him TBH. He's not faultless but he got it together and I respect that.
