  1. I'm honestly shocked he made the team. Good for him. It didn't seem like he was going to based on preseason depth and play time.
  2. The better he does, the more money he will demand in the open market. It's a lose/lose situation. It's the reality of the modern running back position. Draft them, play them, let them walk.
  3. Kicker is the one position we can always seem to find.
  4. 2 TE sets look like they will be commonplace this year. We need more than 1 blocker to run the ball efficiently. I'm not saying Thomas is awesome or anything, but it's clearly why he made the team.
  5. The Giants might be the one team that's worse than us with draft choices and big money signings. It's brutal.
  6. If anyone's gonna take a look at him, I would imagine it's Buffalo. Joe Brady is OC there and was the one who wanted him (presumably) when he was drafted. If Brady doesn't want a look at him, I'd say he's completely toast.
  7. You know a guy is hopeless if he can't be good on KC.
  8. I'm not surprised that TMJ didn't make the team, but I am surprised to see David Moore make it.
  9. I wouldn't extend Hubbard even if he kills it. Let him be someone elses Miles Sanders.
  10. He can't block and Ian can't catch. Guess they wanted the blocker instead of the receiver.
  11. I'd rather just give the team the ball on the 20, but we'll see how it goes this year.
  12. They made it the most boring play in football, and now they're trying to make it more interesting.
  13. I think it just used to take WRs longer to adjust, because the pro and college games were so different. Hardly any team's ran a "pro" offense, and back then that meant running out of the I formation and poo. The NFL and college offenses have never been more similar, and the main difference now is the speed of the game and the talent of the players.
  14. I'm sure there's things to go over, but honestly it was all we could ask for IMO. That's a confidence building TD drive. I honestly believe that last year's offense led by Frank Reich would have gone 3 and out or at best struggled to get a FG on that drive against Bills backups. It's something to build on going into the regular season.
  15. Bryce made a name for himself at Alabama pulling rabbits out of his hat on broken plays like that. We actually have some receivers now that will drive to the sideline and adapt to a broken play. I did not expect that throw to work, but he dropped it in there almost perfectly. I'm now much more optimistic about how the offense will look in the regular season. The scheme seems better. Receivers are getting open. The pass protection is improved. Bryce's footwork and pocket depth is better. He doesn't have a howitzer of an arm, but when he throws off a proper platform he has enough.
  16. I'm with The Fan guys that this was a 10/10 drive. It doesn't need to be picked apart to this degree. You can say there's mistakes or it wasn't completely perfect. But given the circumstances, this was their first and only drive of the preseason... what more could you ask for? I don't think many of us expected it to go that well.
  17. I'll probably check it out from boredom, but sometimes it feels like he's a defense attorney instead of just giving a straight up review of the performances. That probably wouldn't be a very successful YouTube channel though. It's not just us. I've noticed it on other QBs he covers as well. Edit: Another way to say it is I would prefer if he let the tape tell the story, instead of him showing the tape that tells his story.
  18. I was subscribed, but I unsubscribed midway through last year. He's a little too biased for me, and picks out plays to support what he's trying to say instead of taking a more random sampling. Not saying he's wrong about everything he says, but I don't like the angles he takes.
  19. I’m kinda hesitant to watch this after his takes last year. Guy had a hate boner for the only hands on the team.
  20. If we win 8 games, I would consider that to be a very successful season. We aren't winning 8 games unless we have something at coach and QB, which would be fantastic.
  21. Our play by play guy even says here "Mandate for Young: Throw to the first open receiver"
