  1. Not sure why they need to add players every year. Some questionable names being floated in that list.
  2. Back when Eli was in the draft, the reason they dodged the Chargers was because of Ryan Leaf. Archie Manning did not believe that the Chargers as an organization did enough to support Leaf, and that he had almost no shot of succeeding there. It's hard to imagine that they would feel any better about David Tepper post Bryce Young.
  3. Well in all honesty, I think something like "I can't speak to that right now. I haven't seen the film yet." would have implied it was solely his call. It's possible he was just trying to stick up for Bryce in the heat of the moment. But it's hard to completely ignore the potential implication in what he said. Benching Bryce after week 2 is a pretty bold move. And I think at the very minimum, it implies total buy in from ownership, management, and coaching.
  4. He’s a rookie too. We just need to see flashes.
  5. I know it was 4th down, but its a regular season game where you're already down 21 points. Just slide man. That was painful to watch.
  6. Canales didn't lie. Bryce is still our quarterback. He's just not the one that's playing anymore.
  7. Oh well I guess no quarterback will ever come here again, and we'll have to sign Brock Purdy to a 500 million dollar fully guaranteed contract.
  8. It could happen. But personally I don't think so. I think Mike knows they're cooked with Tua at QB, and he won't be eager to take on the project of fixing a scuffed version of Tua. But again, hubris can go a long way. All it takes is 1 coach with influence to say "I can fix him"
  9. Sam Darnold won here too. For about a month.
  10. Bryce benched Bryce. His play left the team with no option.
  11. Only way it happens is by the hubris of an offensive coach
  12. I would entertain throwing in a 6th to get rid of him lol
  13. You guys are nuts for supporting this idea like it couldn't get worse. When the Hornets moved we got saddled with a franchise that was much worse than the original Hornets. Even though George Shinn was a cheap scumbag, we always had competitive teams. At least as competitive as you could be in the East during the 90's Bulls reign. It's taken 2 decades to even begin to claw their way out of that. The Browns franchise that replaced the Ravens was a complete joke as well. Not sure what you guys are getting at here. Even in the Baltimore case, it took 12 years to get a new team.
  14. Maybe they'll throw him out there when Andy inevitably gets dinged up. And then people will be begging for Bryce lol.
