  1. Thats an incredibly odd statement to make. If you watch the games, Burns has been completely invisible. The announcers comment on it almost every week.
  2. They just need to let him cook until 2026.
  3. On the Burns thing, I just think investing heavily on defense makes no sense for this team. Until you have the QB problem solved, it’s not going to get you anywhere. I think it makes more sense to allocate resources to the offensive side. We need to see how Bryce plays with a better supporting cast. And if he’s not the guy, we need a better supporting cast for any future QB as well. Spending money on defense makes sense for teams that have a window to win.
  4. Three years seems like enough time to evaluate a GM.
  5. I loved Steve Smith the player as much as anyone. He had his faults, but he was a monster on the field for us. However, I'm gonna go ahead and go on record that I don't think he would be a good GM or head coach.
  6. Hasn't been easy for Fitterer. Hurney wasn't a good GM, but he did much better than Fitterer.
  7. The Brock Purdy thing is so funny to me. The whole argument about how he's only successful because of the rest of the team, and anybody could do it. Okay, so why didn't Trey Lance work? Why did they kick Jimmy G to the curb? Obviously he's not the best athlete in the NFL, but he's clearly doing something right. It tickles me because there's a big cross section of people that believe this but don't think a better supporting cast would save Bryce. Brock Purdy is getting help from the fact that he's on a good team with a good coach, but he's clearly doing something right. I don't think you could just put any QB in that situation and they would have the same success.
  8. I would focus on getting offensive talent around the QB position. Maybe even trade away some of our defensive talent, since its completely wasted on this garbage offense. If Bryce doesn't play better next year with improved WRs, TE, and a better line, then we have a decent foundation for the next guy to come in. I wouldn't be concerned with building the defense when we don't even have an NFL level offense. I'd worry about that once we have a franchise QB in place and an actual window to win.
  9. I won't argue with you there. Mingo isn't very good at all.
  10. It doesn't look like he quit. He's wide open and the throw is just missed badly.
  11. I don't know why anyone's clinging on still. Dude's just not an NFL talent. Its unfortunate but its reality.
  12. Let me be more clear. Nobody is going to be successful with this QB and these skill players.
  13. Not defending him but nobody is going to have success with this offense.
  14. I’m surprised he was available. I thought he was playing well for Indianapolis.
  15. You guys remember that story about Tepper hating some dude so much he bought his house and demolished it? What if that guy was a Panther fan too? That would explain a lot.
  16. I agree but I think that Tepper will have his head in the sand for at least another season before he gives up on Bryce.
  17. Probably because it can't be cleaned up. I'm pretty sure they know and have likely tried. Most players can't overhaul all of their mechanics in the NFL. Especially when those mechanics were the result of his limitations.
