Huntley's performance is doing wonders for Lamar Jackson's leverage in contract negotiations lol

You can't rely on ole Joey Slye

AJ Brown is a completely different player this year.

You think he would have figured out how to hold onto the ball by now... Been in the league long enough.

Oh Kyle Allen...

Report: Teams are doing homework on Jim Harbaugh
PNW_PantherMan replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
And we're back where we started. The guy has a near 70% win rate. For the record, I don't think he's going to leave Michigan because its honestly the perfect job for him. I'm just flabbergasted you can argue against a proven success after you spent the last hiring cycle pounding your chest over Hackett. Now if you wanna talk about things that don't work in the NFL.. -

It took them 4 years to get to or above 500 after Harbaugh. It's not like they slipped in a new HC and immediately were good. You may not like Harbaugh and that's fine, but you can't argue against his winning percentage. Belichick isn't well liked by everyone in his locker room either. -

That's not really a fair comparison. The Big 10 is a level below the SEC talent regardless of what Michigan and Ohio St fans think. He has been successful at Michigan. -
They might need a new coach too.

Drew Brees - Bad accident or Bad Taste?
PNW_PantherMan replied to KyaKona's topic in Carolina Panthers
There's a joke to be had in there somewhere about how boring he was on TV. I can't think of it though. Happy Friday everyone. -
If Darnold plays well,do they keep him around?

It was a lisfranc injury, which is his foot. Same thing that caused Cam to sit out essentially an entire season. -
Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
PNW_PantherMan replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think I've ever seen a coach talk so much crap after changing jobs. This man is making a total fool out of himself for everyone to see. What an embarrassment to him and his family. -
Yea that should have been a catch. These rules around what happens 10 seconds after you catch the ball are ridiculous.

QB Will Levis declaring for the NFL draft
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah and there were people entertaining the thought of him being drafted in the top 10. Then look what happened. Conversely, I really wanted Jalen Hurts when he was coming out of college. He was mocked as low as the 5th or even not being drafted by some places. I figured he would be available for us to use a late pick on. Then the Eagles fell in love with him and drafted him in the 2nd round. -

Malik Willis had/has great potential as a prospect and he fell to the 3rd just last year. And that was in a bad QB class. There's no telling what will happen. -

I'll tell ya how. Because Bryce is 5'10" lol -
I could definitely see Tepper hiring someone like Quinn as a massive overcorrection to whiffing on Rhule.

Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
PNW_PantherMan replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't like Matt Rhule, but the mistake wasn't hiring him. The mistakes were giving him a 7 year contract with full roster control, and then not firing him after year 2 when it clearly wasn't going to work. -

To be honest, nobody does. It's why they fail so often. Nathaniel Hackett seemed like a layup of a hire and he's awful. Nick Sirianni seemed like a joke and his team is one of the best in the NFC. No way of knowing until they actually perform. -

PNW_PantherMan replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well maybe higher end is too generous. But you could do worse for a backup QB. -
I wouldn't hate it, but you gotta think there's a near 0% chance the next hire comes from college after this mess with Rhule.

So are you ready to get rid of Derrick Brown and Jeremy Chinn too? Rhule's gone. He can't hurt us anymore. The reality is, while Sam is a trash tier starter, he's on the higher end for backups. -
They should be able to flex sooner. We saw way too many Broncos games in primetime this year.
