He intentionally put the ball into the ground to avoid a sack. In spirit he’s guilty.
-
Only change I can think of as any forward pass that is untouched and hits the ground before the line of scrimmage is a live ball. If it’s recovered by the other team it’s ruled as a lost fumble.
-
Well last week was just 1 game. Now we know it’s more than that.

Darnold is back!
-
That was a make up call lol
-
Refs bailed him out. It’s that simple.

I agree. I’m just saying these pro level strength programs are a joke cause they never get anyone stronger. For the most part they inherit already strong athletes and don’t help them get stronger.
-
There’s no reason they can’t call intentional grounding. They’re just tilting the field for the Rams because of the fires.
-
Bad call

The reality is the NFL is a league of freaks, and every single one of these guys were strong when they got there. These strength and conditioning programs at the pro level don’t seem to be making guys much stronger. Otherwise Jalen Hurts 600 lb squat wouldn’t be such a big deal.

Tendon strength does also improve, albeit not as fast as muscle mass. Additionally, more muscle mass developed around the joint makes for a more stable joint.

Romo has on screen charisma. Regardless of what you think of the content of his commentary. Charisma is like obscenity. You know it when you see it.

Nah people are just being real. You're just making excuses because he's TB12. If they hire some lousy announcer and hot shot him to the number 1 spot, of course people are going to complain. He's lousy. You're just cutting him slack because he's TB12 and he's getting a lot of (rightfully deserved) criticism for how much he sucks at being on TV.

Would You Trade Draft Capital for a #1 WR???
PNW_PantherMan replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
For me? I'd have it done yesterday. -
Check out Wayne Gretzkys commentary on the nhl on tnt. It’s terrible. Same issue as Brady. The greatest usually aren’t great at much else.

Being a good commentator has nothing to do with being a good football player. You need on screen charisma and a good rapport with the play by play person. You just can’t teach on screen charisma. You either have it or you don’t.

It’s a Philadelphia problem

Reminds me of how my dog is only interested in a stick if I am.

Hypothetical. What about a 2nd and XL? -
Impact Rookies in Playoffs (Beyond Round 1)
PNW_PantherMan replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
The other problem with the approach of taking underdeveloped players is that their rate of working out is lower than players that can contribute today. When you have to fill a roster with 53 players, you can't play scratch off odds to fill those positions. We would need 100 draft picks a year at the rate we pick good players. -
It's literally a re-run so far without the knee injury. RG3 took the league by storm with the read option mixup game. He was basically a 1 read QB that year and their offense was electric. It's very similar to their offense this past year. RG3 also looked like a rag doll every time he got hit. Kliff Kingsbury has created an offense that is very friendly to a new QB, and emphasizes Daniels' strengths. I just hope he can stay healthy. He's fun to watch. But I agree with your original point. Rookie impact does not directly mean that they will progress from there in a linear fashion. This could very well be his best season. Only time will tell.

Incredibly stupid pick even before he got hurt again this year. There's so many good backs coming out this year. It's absolutely crazy.
-
I don’t know about that. Looks like a rerun of RG3 to me. Hopefully he doesn’t keep running like a crash test dummy until it’s too late.

Yea I’m sure Thomas brown has a real shot lol
