  1. JR just responded to the situation differently. He could have acted like Snyder but he agreed to sell the team instead. They can't really force anyone out if that person is willing to be a pariah.
  2. I was about 80% Stroud and 20% Young originally and now I'm like 51% Young and 49% Stroud. Young has a lot of intangibles that are hard to ignore. If he was bigger he would probably be the consensus pick, so I would bet on him being able to overcome the size issue. Still would be super excited about either one.
  3. I’d be happy with either one and I trust the staff to make the right call. I’ve been more of a Stroud guy, but this is a pretty good argument.
  4. Does he also design the uniforms for Maryland?
  5. It makes sense as long as they want to carry 3 QBs. It's possible they will want to roll with just 2 QBs on the roster, which would presumably be the rookie and Dalton. I'd be in favor of keeping him. Worst case scenario, he never pans out. But his only real cost is a roster spot, and he could be trade bait if he develops.
  6. I was kind of indifferent towards it and not a huge fan initially. But as the years have passed, I feel it's a clear improvement over the original logo. I think that's a mark of good design, is it looks good years later.
  7. I’d be cool with some updates. On that note, I’m no designer but I think the shoulder stripes plus the tiny numbers look stupid. Either reduce the stripes so the numbers can be normal or ditch the tiny numbers all together.
  8. They're gonna take every QB prospect out cause Fitterer's gotta eat.
  9. I wouldn't read too far into these dinners. Fitterer is probably just trying to eat out on the company dime.
  10. The whole brass balls, all-in thing just reminds me of the decision to hire Matt Rhule.
  11. We've definitely reached peak draft prospect hyperbole season.
  12. If we traded to 1 to take the 3rd or 4th QB off the board, Fitterer and company are monumentally stupid. I’ll believe it when I see it.
  13. Better than signing Sam Darnold. For a backup/mentor type position I like it.
  14. I'd rather wait and see how Burns does next year. If he blows up like some say, I have no problems paying him big time money. But if we do that now, and he is underwhelming, that is going to suck.
  15. It’s obvious that the only reason the trade happened was because of DJ Moore. The Bears valued him highly and that’s what made the deal get done. i don’t get the feeling he was being shopped.
  16. I would only do it for their 1st next year, which they would be insane to agree to. At the 1 spot, we get to choose our destiny and that is priceless.
  17. Great post brother. This part deserves emphasis. I agree 100%.
  18. Well you're gonna have to keep using your imagination because he's going to Chicago.
  19. I'm choosing to be optimistic about this. I don't think the deal to move up was unfair. I just hope we make the right decision with it.
  20. I could easily see it happening if we draft a QB and sign a vet like Brissett. They may wanna only roll with 2 QBs.
  21. The bottom line is if one team thought acquiring Lamar for that price would make them a winner, they would do it. They would not care about resetting the market or pissing off the rest of the owners. Case in point last year with the Browns.
  22. Or it’s just basic economics. Lamar set his price higher than anyone is willing to pay. If I decide to sell my house and not hire a realtor. Then set the price way above market value. It’s not collusion when nobody buys it.
  23. He also hasn't looked nearly as good since that season. And he has never looked good in a playoff game.
  24. Yea same problem on my iPhone. its like the site can't load all the way and I can't click on anything.
  25. True but he also looked like he fell off a cliff last year. He could bounce back but he's pushing 40. I wouldn't count on it.
