  1. It really depends. Can you think of any instances where the 5th year option was crucial? Most players that are hits are extended by then. I don't think the 5th year option is as valuable as some think. Move up if you think the guy you want is going to be gone. I wouldn't do it for a 5th year option.
  2. Let's hope its a little more constructive than the youtube channel.
  3. When you have a classic uniform like this, I feel like you should embrace it. For example, I really felt like the Seahawks should have done that in 2012 vs going with that monstrosity they went with. But I'm a sucker for simple, classic uniforms.
  4. I thought this was gonna be him saying something dumb on Twitter lol
  5. I think you can have Alternate and Color Rush alternate. The red is probably color rush if thats still a thing.
  6. I like how the shoulder graphic looks like a lightning bolt. Good thing they're the only team in the AFC West with that design.
  7. Can someone enhance the weight on the side? Is our boy benching 35s?
  8. Thats not good and the blue ones look too much like the Titans/Oilers.
  9. Haha. In all seriousness it really depends on how the draft falls. If its the 4th or 5th round, and he's the best prospect on the board... I don't have a problem with the team drafting him. My main red flag with someone like this, is we're trying to build a culture from the ashes here. Bringing in guys with character problems may not be the most productive way of doing that. But I'm not a head coach or someone who knows how to build a team culture.
  10. I get that he would fill a need if he pans out. But the thing is, we don't have to fill every single need this year. And I don't think we should be trying to. If this year's class is so weak at that position, that the best prospect we can get is a 4th or later guy with character issues.. meh. Get somebody you feel better about at a different position of need, and worry about pairing a DT with Brown next year.
  11. Canales ran this man into the dirt. Nearly 300 carries at 3.6 average lmao.
  12. We don't need someone to carry the load at RB. But, we could use one that is strong as a receiver to pair with Chuba. If there is someone like that late in the draft, I would think about taking them.
  13. Tepper isn't that stubborn. He has shown that he'll stick with something, but only for so long. He's 110% committed to something until he isn't, and its like a light switch. If Bryce doesn't play any better this year, I bet Tepper will be ready to move on.
  14. His playing days are already over. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Fletcher_(American_football)
  15. Nice write up. I still can’t believe JJ McCarthy is where he is.
  16. I'd say its too early, and it is. But the dude was honestly one of the most awkward players I've ever watched. His body movements and sense of direction were puzzling at times. The only recent player I can think of that looked awkward like that was Chuba Hubbard as a rookie. But, he made rookie Chuba look like a natural.
  17. Trading down is a very easy way of getting absolutely nothing for your draft picks. See Scott Fitterer for a great example.
  18. His PFF grade went from 60 to 90. If you thought he was gonna do that then props. But he was not good as a rookie. And he was billed as a man ready to play.
  19. It might have been easier to pay big money at receiver and go for offensive line in the draft. Since the draft is so deep, a lot of receivers were being given away this year. But then again I don’t know how good the class is for guard.
  20. I mean it depends on the draft class. Look at the receivers taken in 2020. Tee Higgins was the 7th WR taken at 33 and Michael Pittman Jr was taken right after him.
  21. Kirk Cousins and Brock Purdy weren’t taken in the 2nd round. I think the difference is significant.
  22. It makes sense to take one from a roster building perspective. But from a team culture perspective, using a pick that early is basically a vote of no confidence in Bryce.
  23. Short answer: No. Long answer: It would be Horn if he could actually stay healthy. He has been good when on the field, but he hasn't really played enough for us to know how good he is. Has he really been challenged yet? Regardless, only hitting on 1 player is atrocious.
