  1. He’s gonna stay healthy, post a 90 overall PFF score and get a 200 million dollar contract from the Rams
  2. I get why some want a change, but I don't think Rod is the problem. I wish the Panthers were run as well as the Canes.
  3. Its not a bad idea but they shouldn't have taken a guy that will be 28 by the time he plays.
  4. I still play 2k5 from time to time on a Xbox emulator today. Still fun.
  5. I don't really buy into the David Carr was a good QB until he got drafted by Houston storyline. So its kind of an apt comparison. The reality is he was really slow to make decisions with the ball. He didn't read the field well. His line exacerbated the situation by being terrible, but he just wasn't very good. When he came to Carolina, he didn't have that Sam Darnold panic and throw the ball disease. That's what I would expect from someone who's "shell shocked". Not being really slow at reading the field and making the right throws. Some guys just don't have it at the NFL level. Best of luck to Bryce but history is not on our side here.
  6. When your starting QB is ranked outside of the top 32 and people say he’s overrated. Just Panther things.
  7. Some of you guys need to let it go when it comes to Simms lol. Yeah he's wrong some of the time, but who isn't? His analysis is pretty good.
  8. Let's be honest though. We don't really need some miracle 6-7 win season with someone like Minshew coming off the bench. Let's just get our next QB if this doesn't work out.
  9. They will if he’s that bad again. Tepper gets rid of everyone eventually.
  10. We just need to invent a new formation where Bryce stands 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage and JJ Jansen plays center.
  11. My point is not everyone is capable of having that much meat on their bones. I bet Bryce has been lifting since high school. I can guarantee it. He just doesn't have the genetics of an NFL athlete. It is what it is.
  12. You gotta win at least a little bit in the genetic lottery to be over 200 lbs at the height of a toddler and look like Kyler.
  13. Wilson was a good athlete out of college, being pretty good at baseball as well. Look at pictures of him as a rookie. He had muscle on him. He was just short. But, Wilson also brought back the Fran Tarkenton style of scrambling that I don't think anyone was used to dealing with at the time.
  14. Don’t worry we’ll put Andy in and win 3 of the last 5 games to build culture and drop down to the 5th pick.
  15. Real question is that list any better or worse than the overall pool of QBs drafted early vs successful ones? The hit rate is stupid low before you narrow it down to guys that didn’t throw.
  16. Madden stopped caring about being as realistic as possible a long time ago. Its just about selling ultimate team stuff now.
  17. I could see it going either way. He could be the next Pete Carroll, but you know even Pete didn't get it quite right until he took the Seattle job.
  18. I don’t really care if all he says is “it is what it is” or “we picked a bad day to have a bad day” or “missed opportunities” as long as he wins.
  19. He’s a hall of fame receiver in my mind. I don’t care what anyone says. He was incredibly dominant in his prime.
  20. Agreed. They didn’t build around him at all for last year’s team. But based on what we’ve seen I don’t think it’s a good idea to do it now.
  21. I mean I completely agree. I’m just not sure that’s the best path forward long term. Canales could flame out and be terrible. Honestly that’s probably the most likely outcome lol. But I honestly feel like building a roster and coaching staff for one player is only worth it if it has a good chance of paying off. Bryce could still prove me wrong but I don’t think he’s worth building around specifically. I still think we beefed up the guard position to help run the ball too. Canales wants to run the ball between the tackles, and we were trash at it last season. Sure we also need better pass protection, but Bryce made them look worse than they were last year. There were plays where he didn’t have a chance to throw. But there were also plenty of plays where everything was there and he just didn’t or couldn’t make the throw.
  22. Way too early to have an opinion about the QB class next year. A top prospect could emerge.
