  1. I don't disagree with any of that. I just don't think the Super Bowl teams are going to be changing their strategy to spending the big bucks on the WR position. They will continue to draft guys and fill with mid level free agent talent. I don't really have any issue with the Vikings paying Jefferson that much. Its not a bad formula for a rookie QB. It's just not a proven formula for winning a championship. DJ Moore isn't in the same category. I'm talking about handing out record breaking deals.
  2. I felt good after watching the one last year... and the year before that.
  3. Best recent example of a WR carrying a team to a SB is Cooper Kupp. Other than that, most of the Super Bowl winners aren't shelling out record breaking contracts to WRs. Chiefs had an embarrassment of riches, but prioritized certain players to keep the SBs coming. Tyreek Hill is an absolute game changer, but its not enough to drag Tua over the hump.
  4. pretty easy way to make a living. get out there kid. you're killing it.
  5. I'm not saying its his fault. I'm saying having the highest paid WR is not a SB winning formula. Just historically speaking. Look at how the Chiefs prioritize the position.
  6. This isn't exactly a Super Bowl winning formula we're talking about here. Justin Jefferson is a great player, but he's 0 rings. And he probably will have 0 rings for as long as he's a Viking.
  7. I think average is underselling him by a significant amount. He’s a good coach who was elevated to great coach with a great QB. No coach can win without a good QB. The Saints post Brees were a lot better with Payton than they are now. Russell Wilson looked better with Payton than he did the season before. He’s just washed. Bo Nix definitely has an edge because he will have a good coach. It’s hard to say if he just lit up the PAC 12 but people said similar things about Burrow leaving Ohio state and having a one year wonder season. I will say that even though his stats were spectacular last year. They were also good the year prior. Oregon threw the ball a ton last year. He had more completions than he had attempts in most other seasons.
  8. I’m not saying Bryce shouldn’t be last. But the hype on Will Levis is getting out of hand. He has the frame and a big arm, but he had 8 TDs in 9 games, where 4 of those came in 1 game. He’s still got to put it together.
  9. Kicker is the one position we consistently get right. If we could find every other position like we find kickers, we'd have a dynasty.
  10. They should bring that podium with them next time they're scouting QBs.
  11. Its like that movie The Butterfly Effect where every possible action he takes results in some catastrophic future.
  12. I think it was Fitterer. He thought Bryce would be our Russell Wilson and him and Tepper sold each other on it. The coaches were overruled.
  13. That was one of my favorite moments in Panthers history. I expected Cam to play pretty bad but he was incredible. It was unbelievable what he was doing and that he was our Quarterback now. Man.
  14. Its the Shaq offseason program. Get fat and do nothing until the season starts. Worked for him.
  15. Every thread either dies by falling off the front page or being locked because things got too spicy.
  16. I’d see your point if you weren’t talking about the NFL. There’s plenty of human mistakes left to give life to the game without a chain gang. Best believe the Chiefs are getting that PI or illegal contact call on the last drive of the game.
  17. Its like Wayne Gretzky being a coach or Michael Jordan being an owner. The greats usually aren't great at much else.
  18. If Bryce put on a little more muscle, that’s good. But he survived last year even though he took a beating. And I don’t think doing curls is going to make anyone throw a ball better. His velocity problems stem from his poor base, due to a combination of bad protection and bad footwork. When he lets it rip from a proper base, the velocity is there. He just needs to throw from that base all of the time.
  19. Really? I think people will be outraged that we didn’t get a higher draft pick but missed the playoffs. There’s a lot of 7 win seasons to back this up lol.
  20. No he’s just put 100% of his resources into his right arm because he doesn’t throw with his left.
