  1. I would assume so. If he got another job, I would expect to hear about that. If he stepped down I would think there would be an article about how he resigned and wants to go fishing or whatever. This seems like a firing and they're hoping nobody would notice.
  2. The firings will continue until morale improves.
  3. He was against it because he thought he would be fired with Fitterer. Fitterer did not survive to see either of those potential future 1sts, and Morgan probably thought he'd have the same fate. I don't know why people can't figure this out.
  4. Jason Pierre-Paul’s fireworks supply
  5. Its a shame his best years were on some terrible Charlotte teams. He really didn't have much success after leaving either. That was surprising to me.
  6. I admire some of the optimism, but I'm going with 2-4 wins. Anything beyond that is overachieving for next season. It's really a recovery year for us. Maybe we can get lucky and have a few things work out along the way.
  7. I don't mean the prospects are actually generational. I just mean there's very few of them that actually pan out that way. I agree with you.
  8. Theres way more generational prospects than there are generational players.
  9. Well the hype was generational pass rusher. Like hall of fame level player. He's not that good but he is a good edge.
  10. If we don't have at least serviceable play at center, the guard signings are not going to be as effective. I assumed they would draft one.
  11. I felt like suing after paying for Sunday Ticket to watch last year's team. What a rip.
  12. We'll have a new QB next year so its fine. This year though? Yeah we are.
  13. I would add that I don't hate Adam Thielen. He did as well as you could have possibly expected last season. I don't like that he's by far our best WR. And I honestly don't think he enjoys that either.
  14. He doesn't have a super star contract but we're the only team that was going to pay him what we did. There was not a bidding war for his services. He's a role player at this point in his career, and we brought him on as a core piece. That's the Bobcats part of this.
  15. Adam Theilen was such a Charlotte Bobcats kind of signing. Overpaying someone clearly not worth it just because the roster is empty.
  16. It may have been the wrong thing to do, but he clearly was trying to move Burns so he could spend on the offensive line. It's short term bias. No team is gonna let a GM just cook for 3 years building up picks and not winning.
  17. NFL front offices value winning NOW because if they don't, they won't be around later. That's really the takeaway. It's not unique to Scott Fitterer. That's why the Rams made the insane offer in the first place. That's why they've gone after almost every player they've acquired in the last 5-6 years. They don't care about picks. They're trying to win today.
  18. It was dumb to turn that down from the teams perspective. But Fitterer doesn’t survive to see either of those 1sts even with Burns on the roster. I doubt if he trades him Teppers like let this guy cook for another couple years lol. He didn’t do it because he knew it wasn’t in his best interest as general manager. That’s kind of the unfortunate reality a lot of the time.
  19. I should buy his jersey. Would put an end to that.
  20. He was in on every deal. He just lost every time. It didn't say win every deal.
  21. I mean the team sucks and hasn't done much of anything right the last 6 years. I'm not going to defend them on really anything else. I just think part of the problem in the Rhule years was bringing in these low level starters and trying to become mediocre immediately. We really needed to be taking shots early in the draft on QBs in those years. Going full ride or die on Bryce this year is the right call. Even if they suck at picking QBs and building rosters and are terrible human beings.
