I think the real issue is you are hung up on 2-5 carries being the difference in winning and losing for us. It's just not. You're really dug into this and the evidence is just not there. If you think the Chargers defense and our defensive roster are in the same universe talent wise, I don't know what to tell you.

I wanted Harbaugh as much as anybody but you're talking about a coach with 0 Super Bowl rings that's beat the Panthers, Raiders, and Broncos so far. It's a bit premature to use as a point. Wow if we had a completely different roster we could be .500. Great.

The same style of ball that every person on this board wanted to run out of town for years. He's made the defense a lot better and the offense sucks. Chuba and Diontae will likely want to test the market, and will demand a high price tag. That's just how free agency works. I would expect them both to be gone unless Dan is about to overpay one or both of them. Mike Jack is more of a wildcard at this point. He hasn't made enough of a name for himself to warrant a lot of free agency attention.
