  1. Sure but it's mostly boosted by having good players on it. That said, I think it's kind of a wash between these two guys. It makes sense to burn the low durability guy first, rather than to keep him up your sleeve as a last resort. I'd rather have my backup not be coming off of 3 season ending injuries. But if Corbett can keep it together the whole year, then that's great.
  2. You could argue it's smarter to start Corbett on opening day, because Mays will have to relieve him at some point. If you start Mays, and then he gets hurt, Corbett could very well come in and leave on a stretcher the same week in relief. At least if you get Corbett's availability out of the way first, it becomes a known variable. And Mays is rested and ready to finish the campaign.
  3. It's just inevitable that Mays will be the starter at some point, because the odds that Corbett goes on IR approach 100% by week 10 or so.
  4. Let's start the over/under of how many games this lasts at 4.5
  5. If they cut Joe Flacco let's IR the red rifle and pick him up
  6. We won’t win many more games if the defense still can’t stop anyone. Glad the first team offense got a TD though.
  7. So it turned out that losing wasn’t an option after all. It just didn’t mean what we originally thought.
  8. Milroe looked pretty good tonight
  9. Raiders were overmatched in the trenches the whole first half
  10. Look at the bright side. There’s not much difference in this guy vs whoever else doesn’t have a team. Our backup LBs are replacement level roster churn. The upside is they are replaceable.
  11. Ashton Jeanty 3 carries for -1 yards. Rough start.
  12. These Seattle uniforms have lived beyond their natural lifespan. Time to dump them imo.
  13. Just signed 113mil/4yrs last month ouch
  14. The Browns would have definitely been better off. But probably not the GM that would/will be fired by the time those picks are up for selection.
  15. At the end of the day, money spent positionally will not be close to equal. Every team has players that are overpaid and players that are underpaid. It's about results at the end of the day. Do you win or not?
  16. That measures the result of the play, not how difficult the pass was. You can't draw much information from that other than the passer rating was lower when thrown to XL.
  17. A post so nice, he made it twice.
  18. Yea lets see here. When have I thought we were a WR factory? We have 1999 with the triple threat of Muhsin Muhammad, one hit wonder Patrick Jeffers, and the up and coming Donald Hayes. Jeffers career ended because of an injury and Hayes never panned out. Then you have 2003 with Muhsin Muhammad, Steve Smith, and Ricky Proehl. By 2005, we didn't have anyone besides Steve that could catch the ball. That's like twice in our entire history.
  19. Certainly hasn't been the case for this team. Ever.
  20. Supervised autopilot is more realistic. My car basically does that now with lane keep assist and the dynamic cruise control
  21. Flying cars were supposed to be here by 2000. I'm still waiting.
