Hey You, You Don't Know Quarterbacking

Being a football wasteland of an organization affects everyone differently. -
Something new to argue vehemently about.

See I knew I was a genius when I bet 1 dollar on us making the Super Bowl. -
Where do you fall on the Bryce Young spectrum?

In that situation, if he were to breakout in the 4th year after we didn't pick up the option. I would be completely okay with that. We basically lose out on 1 year at 26 million but give out a big contract one year earlier. Hypothetically, I have no issue with that being given to a franchise QB. -
It's just one game so I'm going to go ahead and overreact. If we've found a solid starter that can share starts with Freddie, then that could be huge for this team down the line.

The next logical step of this is to not spend money at QB unless you have a star. Build a great team and don't lock anyone in at QB until you find a dude who's more than just the circumstances of his situation. -

I completely agree. I've found that I watch our games like an adult watching a little league game that their kid isn't playing in. You can't help but shake your head and chuckle. Why be upset? -

There is no more impactful position in all of team sports. -
Is Kucci out of a job?

Hey so we’re doing pretty good. Alright.

According to Pro Football Reference, a game-winning drive (GWD) is defined by the following criteria: The team must win the game. The offensive drive must occur in the fourth quarter or overtime. The scoring play that ultimately puts the winning team ahead for the final time must be the result of this offensive drive. At the start of the drive, the team must be tied or trailing by no more than one score (1-8 points). The drive can start in the third quarter, as long as offensive plays are run in the fourth quarter or overtime.

I agree. As much as it doesn't make sense right now, I can see it happening.
-
Probably should have looked into that before taking the Canes to cover -1.5. Buckle up.
-
Well there's certainly no trap games for a winless team.
-
Good point on Lewis. With how things are shaking out, that's going to have to be the spot that's made up from depth or the draft after 2026.
-
Not sure that I want my backup being that fragile. It's like having a spare tire with a hole in it.
-
Well two things can be true. There's a degree of luck involved in hitting on draft picks, but I'm not sure Chicago has things figured out any more than we do.
-
Or keep him at LT and draft another RT. Can't have everyone on big contracts. League is structured so that's impossible. I'm not sure why some folks have an issue understanding that.
-
Yeah the rest of the schedule is just brutal. It's going to be a test for sure.
