Ehlers is concerning but it’s still only 8 games in. About 1/10 of the season. There’s still a lot of games to be played and time to see if they form some chemistry as a top line.

Yea i feel like chemistry matters a lot in hockey. We stumbled on a goal scorer that thrived here. Should have locked him up until he gets aarp letters in the mail.

Dalton about to get a hard benching

Technically we don’t. We need someone who’s better than Dalton. Those QBs are widely available every offseason and they don’t need to improve to be better than what we have. Answering the long term QB question and easily finding a short term replacement are two completely different things.

If only there was some indication that his play was declining, the team could have let him walk after last year. But as we all know he won comeback player of the year and we made the playoffs.

Our organization would probably have a lot more success if we faced the reality in front of us rather than trying to mold it into what we'd like it to be. Play the hand you are dealt essentially.

The problem is you basically need a laser cannon for an arm to be effective beyond 20 in the NFL. The coverage is too tight, you'd have to be an absolute wizard with placement to float balls to the exact spot. Think playing corn hole from 50 yards out. But even then, it just gives too much time for defensive coverage to adjust mid flight. Bryce has a flea flicker deep ball in the NFL. It requires a blown coverage essentially.

If he plays this week then I highly doubt he suffered a high ankle sprain. I think he sits at least this week. The Panthers are trying to appear coy, but I don't think there's any chance he plays. What's the end game here if he does? The greatest trick the devil ever played was Bryce Young wasn't actually injured? Okay?
