    No I meant if you opt out of the postseason, you shouldn't be playoff eligible the next season. I didn't mean that it would be a requirement to qualify the previous year.

    You should have to play in the bowl game to be eligible for next year's CFP. Its that simple.

    There's just not that many meaningful games the last week. We'd probably be the only game that was straight up for a divisional championship. I was looking at the schedules and for this scenario to play out we need the tie breaker against Tampa. So we would need to beat Seattle the week before as well. But if we sweep Tampa then its moot.

    The last game of the year will absolutely be flexed if its essentially an NFC South title match

    Yea but saying he’s severely limited and requires some college offense is really underselling him as a player. He is a role player but he’s better than half the starters.

    Let’s hope he has a better 2nd half of the season. Things might click for him but it could take a season. I thought the long term deal was a bit questionable but I didn’t expect him to fix his problems immediately.
