    Zimmer iced the Bengals kicker and the dude missed his practice shot. Then made the game winner. Oh, Vikings.

    Wilson has a cannon of an arm, and he's deceptively quick at escaping pressure. If he can survive back there, he will end up being a good QB.

    The guys didn't play bad. Darnold did pretty well all things considered. Good to see CMC back and at 100%. He's electric. But, this was not an encouraging performance by the offense. That will not result in a win against many NFL teams.

    This felt like the Lions game from last season, except we didn't win by as much. The Jets are an embarrassment of a team. We should have blown them out. That offense will only get us 3-5 wins. Very questionable situational play calling, and I'm concerned that CMC will not last the whole season with that level of workload. We drafted Chuba to ride the pine.

    You don't win games in this league by playing not to lose. We've seen enough of that in Panthers history. This Jets team is awful. We should be up by 20.

    We didnt need to fire Ron Rivera to have a predictable offense that pounds CMC into the ground week 1.

    Sam has played relatively well, but these play calls are wack. I hope Sam does well enough this year to where Brady goes elsewhere. I'm over it.

    Should have went for it instead of punting earlier, and should have taken the 3 point lead instead of going for it there. That 3rd down play call was awful.

    I'd rather keep our 1st round draft picks, and pick a QB next year if things don't work out.

    Even Russell Wilson I would consider a threat with his legs, because he changes how you rush the passer. You can't pressure Russ the same way you'd pressure a statue in the pocket. He does that Fran Tarkenton spin move thing and scoots up the field for 10 yards.

    I would consider Murray a dual threat. Lamar is the most electrifying runner at QB since Michael Vick, but there's a fair amount of dual threat QB's in the league. The position is just way more athletic than it used to be. Maybe you don't spy every play, but I would argue that's not really a "dual threat" QB if you're all in on stopping the run threat every play.

    He's no Lamar Jackson but I wouldn't call Darnold "damn slow"

    The rules have been changing in a linear fashion to help offenses pass the ball. When are the rules going to change in favor of the defenses? That's why I don't think its cyclical. Cyclical implies that we would go through a defensive period.
