  1. Well now I don't feel so good. Cowherd is almost always wrong.
  2. Wilson has a baby face so he looks like he's 16. He could afford to beef up a little bit, but he's not small. If you didn't see the talent on the field Sunday, I'm not sure what to tell you. That Jets team is abysmal, and almost ruined Darnold. If they're not careful, they'll ruin Wilson. My biggest criticism of Wilson is that he tried to play too much hero ball. But the elusiveness, the awareness in the pocket, the arm strength and accuracy... its all there.
  3. There is a difference in spelling a RB and removing him from the game. He's not a baseball pitcher, where when he's out he's done for the game. We're talking about giving 5-10 carries to other backs combined.
  4. If we shut down Alvin Kamara I will be a happy man. I'm so sick of seeing him run all over us.
  5. He almost had 2 on Sunday. I stand by my prediction. Famous Jameis also throws lots of picks to LBs.
  6. They were fumble returns. And in the same game.... on back to back plays I believe.
  7. That just means we're due. I'm calling a Shaq Thompson pick 6 for Sunday.
  8. I forgot how fun it is to have people from other teams talking smack. We didn't get any of that with the Jets lol
  9. That's not really very close to the same situation. 33 yard line is 50 yard FG. 37 yard line is 55 yard FG, which is significantly longer for most kickers. Also 4th and 17 is not a realistically make-able down. 4th and 6 is. If Bill was in our situation, I believe he would have gone for it.
  10. To be fair, it's not really a reach if the guy ends up being a great player. The general consensus outside of our team seemed to be that even Horn was a bit of a reach as Surtain was graded as the best corner. Was he a reach? I don't think so, because he's probably going to be a better player than Surtain. That being said, I'm not mad we got Horn. He's a bad dude.
  11. As a counter point, how many punters practice the coffin corner from just outside the redzone? Should we really expect him to nail that?
  12. Oh come on, that's a strawman . I just think we should spell CMC instead of giving him 500 touches this season. And everyone was livid when Cam was playing visibly injured.
  13. For what it's worth, this was the same argument used for Cam. That should be the coaches decision, not the players IMO.
  14. That's not really a valid explanation, either. It's 4th and 6 on the 33. I would have gone for it. It's a very good risk/reward setup for going for it.
  15. We need a much better threat at TE if we're going to stick to the dump off game and short passes underneath zones. We did not target Robbie and Marshall enough IMO.
  16. Because workload management is a thing. There's a lot of research around RBs with 400 touch seasons, and never quite being the same. If you want CMC to last, he needs to be spelled a little more IMO.
  17. IQ may stay the same or get worse, but with maturity and experience comes knowing your own limitations lol. Just my personal experience.
  18. I think my all time favorite game against the Saints was when we ran up the score to try and get in the playoffs. The fact that Mike Ditka took it personally just made it better. That said, we're due to hand them an ass whoopin.
  19. Can we just pause for a moment, and appreciate that the scheme is being adapted to the personnel available? I seem to remember years where that was NOT the case for us, with guys blatantly out of position.
  20. I think you're onto something. Rhule definitely comes off as more of a motivator, while Snow is an X's an O's guy.
  21. That should be reviewable by coaches challenge. They've taken most of the challenges away from coaches, but why not let them review that? It's clear as day to anyone watching the replay, and it had a significant impact on the game. (Even if GB just got their ass kicked either way)
  22. Jameis had a great game. Yeah the INT that got called back wasn't great, but he still played better than a lot of people expected. If Sam had the same game you guys would be talking about how great it was, that he threw 5 TDs, only did what was asked of him, etc.
  23. Relax, Teddy. Tyrod Taylor balled out too, but I wouldn't want him as the future of the Panthers either.
  24. Arnold seems like he has zero YAC potential, and he looks slow out there. Leaves a lot to be desired for a young QB that's trying to find his rhythm.
