    I wanted him. He was projected to go around the 5th round, and people here thought he shouldn't even be drafted. It was surprising to see the Eagles take him in the 2nd.

    If Stroud drops to us, its a no brainer like Icky was. I'm not that big on Richardson, but if anyone can help him develop into a good NFL QB its Payton.

    Whenever people wanna talk bad about Brees, it’s because he was a Payton system QB. And when people wanna talk bad about Payton it’s because he had a great QB. Got it.

    Tepper doesn’t seem like a terrible person. He just doesn’t know how to run a football team. It’s not very different than a coach that’s a good guy but isn’t that good of a coach. No reason to get that personal.

    Good to know. Not an outrageous asking price, but I'd rather use that pick to take a shot on another Matt Corral personally. That said, I wouldn't be too bent out of shape if we gave up a 3rd for him.

    Regardless of what you think about the training requirement, Tepper should have known that was a requirement. Why not check with the league before bringing in your wife into the hiring, if you know you had to take training to be involved in it? Rookie mistake by Tepper.

    They announced the matchups on Good Morning Football this morning. The Titans are playing the Bills. We're not going.

    I'd rather have a fresh face. I can understand why some would want Payton, but there are several good reasons not to hire him. Character issues (bounty gate, vicodin man, etc). Only 1 Super Bowl with top tier QB play for a long period of time. No head coach has ever won a 2nd Super Bowl with another team. He would cost significant draft capital.
