  1. We don't even have intermediate threats utilized in our offense. What makes you think we're going to implement deep shots? Haven't you learned? The go route is only to create space for CMC underneath.
  2. Whether or not Matt Rhule gets a 3rd year, he's gotta be cut off from the draft pick supply.
  3. Right now I'd say it's a toss up if he makes it to next season. He'll have to show a real turnaround in year 3 though.
  4. Have we ever won a game because Rhule outcoached the other sideline? I'm not sure its happened. We've certainly lost quite a few because he's been outcoached. That includes losing to Joe Judge and Ron Rivera. Rhule isn't working out.
  5. Cam's arm looks good enough to me. Our offense is so predictable, Mark Sanchez was calling out plays.
  6. Cam is good enough to win this kind of game. Our coaches are just bad. Ron dominated them today.
  7. Terrible 3rd quarters are too common with this coaching staff.
  8. Snow needs to dial up some pressure and put Gilmore on Terry.
  9. That's only because CMC was benched due to the score, and we ran the clock out with the backups. He wasn't spelled that often when the game was closer.
  10. WFT is basically what Rivera's Panthers would have been without Cam. In other words, not making the playoffs unless the rest of the division forfeits.
  11. They also passed on Justin Fields and Mac Jones this year. Jones is already serviceable, and Fields is flashing star potential. Between that and not acquiring a veteran backup, they banked the entire season on Darnold turning his career around. And they paid draft capital to make that bet. If the Pats kept Cam we'd be screwed right now.
  12. For me, getting out coached by Joe Judge was certainly up there.
  13. Those aren't legit options. They were outside shots at best. Neither player is willing to play for this team. His first answer was Teddy over Cam, which was also a whiff.
  14. I just can't believe Rhule would call Cam all on his own volition. His answer at the QB position was Sam. When that failed, his answer was PJ and Barkley. If Tepper did nothing and told him his job was safe, I guarantee you we'd be riding those two to the end of the year. I think Rhule's failure at the QB position got a bit of his roster control taken away. Do I think he dislikes Cam? No. I just don't see him swallowing his pride, all by himself, to call Cam in the middle of the season. The biggest silver lining of this all for Rhule is maybe he will work as a head coach without so much roster control.
  15. Outside of playoff wins its up there for me. I'm trying to think of another regular season moment that's meant that much as a fan. Maybe its too soon to tell, but that hit pretty hard for me yesterday.
  16. What a day to be a Panther fan. Feels incredible to see Cam out there again.
  17. And they were willing to pay draft picks to risk the whole season on him? That's just careless.
  18. I wonder if Cam would have accepted an extension equal to what Teddy was paid? If so, you can pretty much blame Rhule and company for the departure. I get the feeling that Rhule didn't want to deal with Cam's presence. He wanted to reboot the whole locker room. Maybe they thought he wasn't going to be healthy again. That's the angle they played. That they couldn't take the risk. But they'll risk giving 60 million dollars to a backup QB. Or trade multiple draft picks to risk the whole season on a draft bust turning it around. It's not very consistent with the explanation we were given. Rhule failed to replace Cam and I think that Cam's return is Tepper taking the keys away.
  19. Every DC in the league seems to know it, so how hard could it be to learn?
