Just noticed I'm over 1k posts finally. So many people to thank. First, I'd like to thank Deshaun Watson for causing a series of mega threads. I'd like to thank @Mr. Scot for being an inspiration. Also I'd like to thank @WOW!! For never changing his mind on something as we argued the same thing for dozens of posts. Also @SizzleBuzz for baiting me on several topics. Thanks everyone and I look forward to the next thousand posts!

Thats pretty much where I'm at. Watson would have been exciting, but if we trade for Jimmy G or Baker that's just awful. Best to just stay out of that market now.

Speculation is he doesn't want to play in cold weather cities. I'm guessing the Browns situation is too good to outright say no to though.

I like this signing as a guy to carry some of the load between the tackles. As long as we're talking about Chuba, we could probably replace him with this guy and Abdullah. Not big on Chuba at all, and I don't think he's a good benchmark for other NFL RBs. Not even Panthers ones.

Agreed. I'd rather take a swing at a rookie that's an unknown, than commit a bunch of money (and picks for a trade?) to a guy we know isn't good enough to be the dude in this league. Rookie is almost a free shot minus the draft choice spent.

I'm guessing he picks the Falcons at this point. Seems to be his childhood team. He called them to reach out about an offer. Best case scenario is Tepper finally realizes he's in over his head because of this clown fiesta.

Watson was so impressed with Rhule and Tepper that he is now entertaining meetings with any team that is potentially interested. Doesn't look good for the Panthers. Sounds like we're a fallback plan at this point.

And even if you don't get DW, Flores is still a better coach than Rhule.

Tepper missing out on this deal because of Matt Rhule would be poetic.
