Colorado fans are furious because now hes in the same division and they’d never have agreed to trade him to Dallas. i say you get what you deserve. They didn’t allow him to discuss a new contract so it’s their fault he got moved twice

Good on the FO for getting it done. We didn’t have much leverage here. Cant undo the mistake, but its better picking up some assets than losing him for nothing and having him be a cancer on the team

Also the Canes allowed Mikko to seek an extension with another team. Colorado did not allow him to do that.

Yep. We're gonna look like idiots no matter what. We can't undo the trade. This team isn't winning the cup as is. The best thing to do now is just move forward. Ship him off for whatever you can get and move on.

By 28 years old you should have your head on a little straighter than Mikko. Guys made millions, got what he asked for with the trade, and now he’s just pouting.
