    I don't have anything against this kid, but personally I would not draft yet another big physical WR. Besides, this point is moot after Ashton Jeanty cut this promo after the Mountain West Championship. If Dan saw this, the pick is already in.

    As dumb as it probably sounds, we should have won that game. Defense was bad but Bryce should have been better. Pass rush isn't a good enough excuse.

    Jeanty had a historic season and has the narrative that he put the team on his back to get to the playoffs. I think he has a better argument but he won’t win.

    I completely agree, but I think that's why they opted for more of a "celebrity" hire instead of someone actually qualified for the position.

    Doesn't seem like there's much of a limitation based on how often the TV commercials air. Blue ones, red ones, take the whole bag.

    Players will transfer to play for BB just like they transferred to play for Sanders last season. Whether it works out is another thing entirely. But there will be players interested in playing for UNC that previously would not have considered it.

    2nd rounders have about the same rate of working out at 1st rounders statistically. It's around 50%. How many times can you flip a coin and it comes up tails? If you flip a coin 50 times in a row and it comes up tails, what are the odds that the Panthers actually know how to draft this time?

    NIL and the transfer portal brings a new paradigm. Name recognition bears more weight than traditional recruiting chops. This kind of has Charlie Weis to Notre Dame vibes on it for me, but I understand why they're doing it.
