Anthony Richardson declares for the draft
PNW_PantherMan replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think it's incredibly unrealistic to expect AR to come in immediately and perform better than he did in the college level. The NFL is more difficult to be successful at QB full stop, and he is very raw as a prospect. -
There is not one decision you can reverse that would change anything (besides not being hired). Every mistake Rhule made was compounded by future mistakes. He was destined to fail. Edit: I would add that the idea of a bridge QB is stupid and makes no sense. Especially not for 60 million dollars. It was a massive overpay of an NFL backup, simple as.

Who has been the best post-Cam Panthers QB?
PNW_PantherMan replied to TNPanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is a very depressing poll. -
That's weird. I don't see Sam Darnold on there. I was told anyone who thinks Baker is worse than Sam is an idiot. For the record, Darnold has not been good but Baker was far worse.

Top tier athlete with a cannon arm but needs to be developed to be a consistent passer. A very raw version of Cam. -
Anthony Richardson declares for the draft

I would be stunned if he went in the top 10. I think the best case scenario for him is around where Kenny Pickett went. -
I wouldn't say it was high risk. The trade was ultimately a 5th round draft pick to kick the tires on Baker. Sam Darnold was a much higher risk move with the picks involved and the guaranteed salary this year.

I thought it was based on snap percentage. How are you calculating that?

Imagine CMC's reaction if he has to play with Baker again after being traded. LMAO

Current Win Total Odds for Remainder of Season
PNW_PantherMan replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think Hackett has any control over the roster. He was hired to lure Aaron Rodgers via trade, but it didn't work out. I think there's a near 0% chance he's the coach of the Broncos next season. -

I agree 100%. It’s been one of the most miserable offenses to watch in the NFL. But the Broncos are stuck with Wilson and they will get another coach to try and get things fixed. They really have no other choice. I don’t think Hackett is a good coach but I also think Russell Wilson is washed up. -

Of course it was a huge mistake but Hackett's job is to get something out of Russell Wilson. The only other QB on the roster is Brett Rypien and he's trash. Wilson will outlast Hackett. I'd bet money on it. -
The team has completely given up in the 4th quarter

What a pathetic half of football by the Colts.

Matt Ryan implosion
-
Gilmore is still a dawg
-
Geno is unreal. He's playing good football for the first time at age 32.

Wonder where Zach Wilson will get shipped off to in the offseason
-
Man the Broncos suck
-
We should have kept him to get the 1st pick. He's doing an outstanding job.

Terrible defense by the Giants
-
Heineke is awful and he's still way better than Wentz
-
Rodgers hasn't played well today. This Packers team sucks and the Bears can't stop the run.

This Bears team is honestly pathetic. You would think a team with 0 talent on offense would at least have a pretty good defense.
