    Clausen got 1 year in a lame duck season and wasn't even a 1st round pick. Clausen is in the same group of guys like Kyle Allen, Chris Weinke, and Taylor Heineke. They were never committed to beyond 1 season basically. Bryce got 3 years. That makes him in his own league for this award.

    Because propping up Mr. Big Time Throw means nobody else has any room for error. XL is terrible, but Bryce defenders can't afford to be fair to him. It would be like if Ian Thomas had a fan club that berated every other player on the offense every week. I don't get it.

    The QB not being able to make a play downfield is a big reason why the run game can’t get going against good run defenses. That matchup requires the pass to open up the run. Nobody’s scared of Bryce. It’s why we got swept by the saints.
