There's no way the FO and Tepper will gamble with a rookie QB right after the Bryce disaster. I expect us to ride with Dalton and another vet QB next year. Trade the #1 Pick for a team desperate for Shedeur and use the assets to build the roster and take a QB in 2026 in a better QB class.

TELL THEM ADAM!!!

The D has quit. They know that Bryce doesn't got it.

Time to bench him.

Bryce has 1 throw pass the LOS. The coaches don't trust him AT ALL.

There are just too many unknowns with our team right now for me to be able to say that we will win this game. I do however except us to look remarkably well better coached than anything we have seen in the past 5-7 years except when wilks had us looking like an NFL team again for half a season. I mainly just want to see us be able to run and execute a modern NFL offense that is able to muster more than 10 points a game.

Damn that sucks for Max Johnson

Jalen Coker and Andrew Raym both make the 53. TMJ will be traded to a WR needy team for like a conditional 6th or something. Cade Mayes gets cut. The one player who I'm curious to see what happens to is Raheem Blackshear.

TMJ just made the team

Evero has done a fantastic job with the defense. It's going to suck when we lose him when he gets a HC job. I like the Canales playbook but it's clear that the depth on the Oline and QB just aren't good enough to run it. Hopefully we can get a chance to see what it will look like with guys who will actually make this team in the next game.

^This, but that makes too much sense for the Panthers. I routinely mock 1-2 O-linemen every year just because of our historic lack of quality and depth there, especially post Rivera era. I wanted a center this year, as did a lot of Huddlers who use the mock thread. We ended up taking a DT and ANOTHER ILB with the last two picks instead.
Other than one really bad pass blocking rep against the patriots andrew raym has actually looked like a good depth center.

With Jameis Winston locking down the QB2 spot in Cleveland the Browns are going to cut one of either Tyler Huntley or DTR. I'd like to bring one of them in to be our QB3 and get Plummer off this team.

The joint practice against the Jets will be a good measuring stick to test ourselves against
The offense needs to work on threating the defense down the field as we don't have elite RAC weapons
In just a couple of weeks the constant hype letdown of TMJ will soon finally be off this team.

I'd love to keep Brady here I think he has a real future at Center, and he has the ability to slide to either RT if we chose to cut Moton for cap space or LT if Icky doesn't pan out.

When he climbed into the stands literally sobbing on mommy's bosom after a loss I was like... yeah, that ain't it. That ain't the dog that's gonna cut it in the NFL. Your whole rookie season is gonna feel like that in comparison to college. He ain't gonna make it through that.
I am intrigued by how the Bears plan to develop him, but I'd be a nervous wreck if I worked in that front office. Every defense he plays in the NFL will be lightyears better than anything he's faced in the Big 12 and the Pac 12. He's also not gonna have the best offensive coach in the league like he had in college in Lincon Riley to hold his hand. The Bears have a tough part of their schedule weeks 11-16 so I feel somewhere around there is when he'll mentally break as the losses stack up and they fall out of the playoffs.
Caleb will make some absolutely crazy highlight throws this year but his lack of playing in structure at a high level will make it tough to translate into winning games.

We'll see what he looks like when teams are scheming specifically to exploit his weaknesses. Yeah, he's gonna look good in preseason against vanilla schemes and primarily backups.
They're gonna bait him and I think he'll mentally break when he struggles. We'll see.
Caleb Williams has all the physical talent to be a top 5 QB but once the real bullets start flying and he faces some adversity then mentally I think he's going to struggle. The bears made a massive mistake by not bring in an established vet QB to mentor him.

I predict Jalen Coker goes off for at least 80 yards and a TD and that Andrew Raym looks pretty good as a back up center and then the whole Huddle calls for him to be the starter and wonders why he's getting no reps at practice as the only true center on the team.

I'd like Feleipe Franks to be our new version of Joe Webb. Be our QB 3 and be able to line up on special teams and on offense as a TE or a big slot WR.

Always something right?
First ge doesn't have the arm. Then when he does show he has arm, it's only preseason. Get your story straight from the beginning please.
I have hope in Bryce, but he needs to display the ability to make the tough throws more consistently and in live action team drills and games not just during 7 on 7. You can't win consistently in the NFL throwing only 5 to 10 yard passes and checkdowns.

The combo of Brown and Clowney is gonna cause some serious problems for opposing Olines.

We threw more deep balls in the one game with Dalton vs the Seahawks than we did all of last year and the past 2 games with Bryce. Bryce doesn't have the footwork, timing, and arm talent to make deep throws in the NFL. Not to mention that yesterday he looked scared to throw the ball past the LOS.
Dave needs to have the balls to bench Bryce and play Andy because Bryce is out there playing scared and it's bringing down the entire offense trying to compensate for it. Playing Andy who albeit isn't the answer I can at least trust him to run an NFL offense and allow us to truly evaluate the talent we have on this team. I mean we were running bubble screens and inside zone while down over 20 points in the 4th quarter. It's clear that Bryce and Dave have no trust in the passing game.
