  1. Rico is 3rd in the NFL in rushing despite only being the main back for 3 games. He's been the more physical back between him and Chuba and he just seems to set a certain tone of physicality when he's the one carrying the football. You have to find a way to bring him back and sort out the other pieces after that.

I think you have to deal Chuba by the deadline while his value is still somewhat modest. If we wait till the off-season other teams will just prefer to wait and see what's in the draft.

  2. I'd be open to trading Chuba but not for pennies on the dollar.

The max we'd be offered is like a 4th or a 5th and that's not enough especially with the dead cap we'd have to eat if we did trade him.

Chuba ran for 1200 yards last year and has been solid the years before that and I don't think we should just give him away for nothing.

Now if a team like the Pats come forward with a real offer, I'd be open to listening.

His x rays came back negative, he may not be out long

Cams X-rays came back clean too when he suffered Lisfranc in 2019 if I remember right. So he's not out of the woods yet.

  4. We should absolutely bring in another QB but not via trade. This team is much improved, but we still have holes that need to be filled in the draft and we shouldn't waste them on a year where we know we aren't a true contender. We need our picks to build our roster especially if Bryce is out long term and we decide to move on in the offseason and take another QB in the first.

I'm sure there's a vet on a practice squad or on the street that can come in and hold a clipboard and can hand the ball off to Rico and Chuba should something happen to Dalton. Dalton even at his age can at least throw in rhythm and allow us to truly get a good look at what we have on offense. Despite Bryce playing serviceable the last 2 games, I still get the vide that we are having to adjust everything in our scheme to allow him to function. It would be interesting to see what Dave can do when he's not shackled with the physical limitations of Bryce at QB.

the last time the Carolina Panthers were above .500 — even briefly — was in Week 3 of the 2018 season, when they started 2-1.

    Here’s a quick breakdown:

    • 2018: Started 6-2 before collapsing to finish 7-9.

    • 2019–2024: They have never been above .500 at any point in those seasons — every year they’ve either started 0-1 or 1-1, then dropped below .500 and stayed there.

So the last time they were above .500 at any point was November 4, 2018, after beating Tampa Bay to go 6-2.

We started out 3-0 in 2021.

We were also 4-2 after Kyle allen took over for Cam in 2019. After the London game people really thought we should move on from Cam and roll with Kyle Allen. We then proceeded to go 1-9 the last 10 games and fire Ron Rivera.

  6. Win or lose Bryce needs to be benched next week. It's clear that he's not able to run the offense that Canales wants. We are having to adjust our whole offense to make Bryce functional. Forget dictating to a defense or attacking a weakness we have to pull out all stops just to be barley functional at times. There's no rhythm in our passing attack. It's all short passes or design pick plays with some screens and end arounds thrown in.
