What are you going to do if Rhule turns it around next year?
CmC2k replied to Fan01's topic in Carolina Panthers
We will start a stadium chant called "the process" -
You're right John Miller sacks do happen but not at the rate of 15 sacks over the past 2 weeks
-
We can't take a QB unless we find some way to improve the Oline. No matter the age or experience of a college QB they all need time to adjust and develop to the NFL game.
-
Don't forget that Rhule was going to accept the jets job, but the jets backed out when Rhule said he was going to only bring his college staff and wouldn't allow the jets to make any input on his assistant coaches because Rhule wanted his guys. Let it sink it that THE JETS where smart enough to see that it was a bad idea so much so that they chose ADAM GASE who already failed as the coach of the dolphins. They chose a coach that they got to see fail fist hand over Rhule and his guys.

Glass half full…..we now own the number 6 overall pick

A new coaching staff with a new franchise LT and Cam newton with a full offseason is all that we can hope for. -
Darnold: 0 TDs in 20 consecutive quarters now.

and with half the knowledge of the playbook and with a coach who barley supports him. Cam isn't the player he once was but he's better than Darnold could ever think of being. -
We came out with a solid plan but lucky for us the saints have NFL coaches that are capable to make adjustments in game and it was over from there.
-
John Miller is the new byron bell
-
Darnold is playing like a backup who's just trying not to lose the game which is good because that's the only way he stays in the NFL.
-
Sam Darnold can’t throw the ball past the line of scrimmage.

Our defense would look so much better if we had at least something on offense -
Cam might not have the arm he used to, but he would at least throw the ball to the 1st down marker. We have absolutely no faith in Sam to read the defense. All the passes have been checkdown and design gimmies.
-
Sam Bridgewater?
-
Facemask?
-
3rd and 9 checkdown
-
It's cool that we are winning, and our Defense is playing well but this type of conservative play calling and babying of the QB won't win us any meaningful games in the future.

LUVU is a beast
-
Brady looks like a LT
-
-
If a new staff comes in and thinks he can be a franchise QB then yes take him. I have no faith in Rhule to evaluate QB's.
-
Just a solid day from brady at LT and a better draft pick is all we want. But if Vilma is calling the game today it would be so sweet if we blew them out for all the crap, he's talked about us this year.
-
I'd be cool with us trading back anywhere to 12-15. We simply have too many holes to fill with not enough cap space or draft capital for us to fill them. The hope is that Tepper is going to fire Rhule and bring Cam back. I'd like to see Cam with a full offseason and camp, new offensive Line and NFL level coaching could do.
-
If they threw in an extra 4th, I'd take that. Draft a QB in the middle of round 1 then take Offensive Line in rounds 2-5. I think Darnold is a likeable guy and I still think he has potential, but we can absolutely not go into next year with just him and PJ again. We needed to have someone we can turn to if and when Sam starts to fall off a cliff again.
-
We need to have all the QB stocks rise so we can get a massive haul for a trade down. Teams always pay a premium for trading up for a QB.

Kenney Picket and Matt Coral are the clear number one and number two right now with Sam Howell, Desmond Ridder, Malik Willis, and Carson Strong all have solid arguments for the number 3 spot. Of course, all these rankings are subject to change as we move deeper into draft and scouting season.
