I really hope Sean goes to Denver. Having to see Denver give up all their assets and pay Wilson and Payton a combined 350+ million dollars to still finish last in their division couldn't happen to a more deserving franchise. After all the cheap shots they put on Cam and the obvious officiating bias in Superbowl 50 I wouldn't feel the least bit sorry for them.

It really sounds like Payton will go to Denver.

Caldwell should also have the connections to help a young HC build a great staff. That's my main concern with Shane Steichen and Ben Johnson is that while they themselves might be good coaches do, they have the ability to build a good staff to support them.

Shane Steichen would be able to get the most out of Corral if we fail to get a QB in the draft.

HC- Shane Steichen F/A- Resign Bozeman, Sign Mike Gesicki Draft- The new coaching staff, Fitter, and Tepper circle in on 1 QB and they move heaven and earth to get them and finally fix the QB problem.

I would prefer Frank Reich as an OC rather than HC

The only way he'd might come back as DC is if we hired Ken Dorsey as HC or if Tepper pulls a Michael Jordan and rehires Ron Rivera.

The Vikings passed on him last year and seem to be doing well. I do wonder what he's asking for in the interviews that's scaring away teams.

The raiders passed on him a couple years ago and then the Vikings passed on him last year and now it looks like we are gonna do the same. He must be asking for the Matt Rhule treatment or something crazy. I can respect it because unlike Rhule he at least has the results to back it up.

Miami didn't do all that tampering for nothing. I bet they've had a deal in the works under the table with Brady and Payton or Brady and Harbaugh for some time. Sucks for Mike McDaniel but he'll have another HC job by the weeks end. I'd be all for hiring him here as long as he doesn't bring Josh Boyer with him as the DC.

He still under contract with Michigan that's what he's supposed to say. All of that will change when the season ends, and he starts interviewing for NFL HC jobs. He was going to be the Vikings HC last year till they changed their minds last minute and went with Kevin O'Connell. He's got a good gig at Michigan and him and his agent are using that as leverage to force the 2 richest owners in the NFL to bid against each other.

Disappointed about the loss but excited for next year where we'll hopefully have a stud rookie QB in what should be a very winnable division. Weather we keep Wilks or go in another direction it'll be exciting to watch this team compete in the playoffs next year and start to build sustained success.
