  1. Listen I understand we're a bad team, but I don't tune into a panther game to hear about the Eagles for 30 minutes. It's like I'm watching a Kelce Podcast with a panther game in the background.
  2. You gotta get one of the big fish in either Higgins or Pittman. Then snag another solid contributor like a KJ Osborn or a Tyler Boyd. Combine a pair of them with AT, Mingo, and Viska and you'd have a WR core that can actually be effective. That would open up our options with our high 2nd round pick to either take a talent that has fallen in the draft or being able to trade back so we can recoup some assets we lost during the Bryce trade and allow us to build some depth to this team.
  3. Maybe Wilks really did catch lightening in a bottle and what we're dealing with now is the true aftermath and mess that Matt Rhule left us with.
  4. I'd say 4-4. The CMC trade was already pretty much done before Wilks had a chance to get things right and plus, I feel Wilks would've summed his inner Ron Rivera and ran him into the ground, so I'd still trade CMC. I don't think Wilks would've wanted to trade up all the way to number #1 so the Texans would've swapped with Bears and Bryce goes there. CJ would go to the colts, and we would've either done a small trade up for Richardson or stayed put at 9 and took Levis. Both of which would be sitting their entire rookie year unless Darnold got hurt as Darnold showed that he could effectively be a game manager in Wilks 2000s ground and pound offense.
  5. The hornets have actually assembled a really talented team for being a small market. They just can't seem to get the coaching hire right. I still despise Kenny Atkinson and hope he gets blacked balled from coaching anywhere except Golden State.
  6. It only took 1 week for the DC of the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL to figure out and get the playbook for our shiny new play caller.
  7. With Rhule it was quick 1-year swings at the QB position so seeing bad QB play was tolerable because we knew in the off-season, we'd have a chance to swing again. With Bryce we are attached to him for 3 years at least.
  8. I always hear how Reich is such a likeable guy and is a player's coach and is well respected around the league but the ONE GAME where you'd think that his players would want to win for him and play inspired, and we come out and look like this. Wilks did a lot more with almost the same roster minus Bryce. It seems that we are ruining a O shaped scheme with a bunch of square shaped players. Wilks saw we had a bunch of square shaped players and had us play a square shaped scheme.
  9. I know you're joking but I don't hate that idea
  10. At this point let's have McCown call the plays.
  11. That's what happens when you check down the whole game.
  12. Why are we always the "career best" for any kicker ever?
  13. I don't care what the dead cap would be I'm all for cutting Miles Sanders just based on principle at this point. As long as he's here he's gonna demand play time because of his contract and he's our 3rd best RB. Just cut bait and move on.
  14. Please tell me why the NFL can fine players but not officials?
  15. Burns makes a play. Only took him being unblocked to do so.
  16. I really thought Christian Miller was gonna be good. I thought he was a steal of that draft
  17. Jayden Daniels is an absolute warrior. Dudes taken some of the most vicious hits in CFB this year as a QB.
  18. I haven't heard this brough up, but does anyone wonder maybe that Bruns, and his agent are asking for such a high number right now because they wanna make sure that Bryce will be good before committing to this team for the next 5 years? It makes sense that Burns wouldn't wanna sign away the prime of his career to a team on the QB carousal again if Bryce bust unless he's highly paid.
  19. Both Belichick and Saban just so happen to be some of the best coaches of all time. Comparing Deion to the both of them this early in his coaching career is an incredible compliment. Deion is similar to both of them in terms of that he realizes that football is a result based business. You either preform and move on to the next level or you're replaced. The same thing for the players they know that they have to preform, or they're replaced by the next hot shot from the transfer portal. This is the new age of college football where there is no loyalty from players and coaches unless you're at least a productive plus starter. There's always a kid at another school looking to transfer for an opportunity and there's always a coach looking for an upgrade in the portal.
  20. Deion will be fine. The amount people already bashing him because he didn't walk in and make a 1-win football team a national title contender in 1 off season is crazy. The collage game is so much based on Jimmy's and Joe's that expecting instant success is just not possible. Give him some time to build that team's talent and depth then bash and criticize him when he leaves for a big SEC or Big 10 school that offers him a large sum of money.
  21. Not Panther related but I'd like to see the Vikings trade for Jameis Winston. Seeing him throw it deep to Jefferson and Addison 30 times a game would be fun. Now granted 15 of those throws would be intercepted but the other 15 would be some pretty awesome touchdown highlights. Jameis is the NFL readzone of NFL QB's but it would be more entertaining than watching Jaren Hall. The Vikings have already won to many games to tank for Caleb Williams and Drake Maye.
  22. Regardless of the result of this game the defense has played good especially Luvu.
