  1. There are just too many unknowns with our team right now for me to be able to say that we will win this game. I do however except us to look remarkably well better coached than anything we have seen in the past 5-7 years except when wilks had us looking like an NFL team again for half a season. I mainly just want to see us be able to run and execute a modern NFL offense that is able to muster more than 10 points a game.

  2. Jalen Coker and Andrew Raym both make the 53. TMJ will be traded to a WR needy team for like a conditional 6th or something. Cade Mayes gets cut. The one player who I'm curious to see what happens to is Raheem Blackshear.

^This, but that makes too much sense for the Panthers. I routinely mock 1-2 O-linemen every year just because of our historic lack of quality and depth there, especially post Rivera era.  I wanted a center this year, as did a lot of Huddlers who use the mock thread.  We ended up taking a DT and ANOTHER ILB with the last two picks instead.

Other than one really bad pass blocking rep against the patriots andrew raym has actually looked like a good depth center.

When he climbed into the stands literally sobbing on mommy's bosom after a loss I was like... yeah, that ain't it. That ain't the dog that's gonna cut it in the NFL. Your whole rookie season is gonna feel like that in comparison to college. He ain't gonna make it through that.

I am intrigued by how the Bears plan to develop him, but I'd be a nervous wreck if I worked in that front office. Every defense he plays in the NFL will be lightyears better than anything he's faced in the Big 12 and the Pac 12. He's also not gonna have the best offensive coach in the league like he had in college in Lincon Riley to hold his hand. The Bears have a tough part of their schedule weeks 11-16 so I feel somewhere around there is when he'll mentally break as the losses stack up and they fall out of the playoffs.

Caleb will make some absolutely crazy highlight throws this year but his lack of playing in structure at a high level will make it tough to translate into winning games.

We'll see what he looks like when teams are scheming specifically to exploit his weaknesses. Yeah, he's gonna look good in preseason against vanilla schemes and primarily backups.

They're gonna bait him and I think he'll mentally break when he struggles. We'll see.

Caleb Williams has all the physical talent to be a top 5 QB but once the real bullets start flying and he faces some adversity then mentally I think he's going to struggle. The bears made a massive mistake by not bring in an established vet QB to mentor him.

    Always something  right?

First ge doesn't have the arm. Then when he does show he has arm, it's only preseason. Get your story straight from the beginning please.

I have hope in Bryce, but he needs to display the ability to make the tough throws more consistently and in live action team drills and games not just during 7 on 7. You can't win consistently in the NFL throwing only 5 to 10 yard passes and checkdowns.

  7. I say we do rather pedestrian maybe slightly above or below 500 then right before thanksgiving we get hit with a massive reality check when we play the chiefs and then we start our yearly December collapse as we play the tougher teams on our schedule. Bryce will show that he's a good solid NFL QB but that his physical limitations won't let him live up to the status of being picked 1st overall as Stroud and Richardson put up video game numbers and make crazy highlight plays over in the AFC.

oh noes he threw a drink at someone who was being an asshole

I mean let's all be honest who hasn't wanted to throw a beer on a falcon or a saint's fan at least once? I can tell you that if I was a billionaire I'd definitely let my intrusive thoughts of throwing a beer on an opposing team's fan get the better of me.

I've had a ton of interactions, all really cool to basic hellos. I've joked with him, talked music, I had to hold his phone while he did an interview, he once came behind me (while I was working) and rubbed my head to simply saying hello in passing, etc. I've never had a bad interaction with him and Nicole is amazing, always saying hello, giving hugs, just a genuinely nice person. I believe Mr. Tepper is super smart, knows what he wants and is struggling to get there (not all his fault - players play and coaches coach too). Football is not basic business. The ebb and flow of a game, the ref calls, the way the football bounces, to injuries, etc all play into winning and losing. It's not just the owner but all eyes are on him everyday. Unfortunately, people judge and have opinions, right or wrong. I really believe he just wants to win and be a hero to the city. I am a fan of the Teppers, even if it's not the popular opinion.

I know many people do not like Tepper, but we can at least appreciate the fact that he does truly want to win, and he isn't afraid to open up the checkbook to try and make it happen. I believe that once this team starts having some success and he's able to start interacting with the fans like he was pre 2018 cam shoulder falling apart then his image will change for the better.

  10. BOA stadium is perfectly fine all that it needs is to go back to a natural grass playing surface and for the team to actually start winning some games at home. I've not heard anyone that has any major issues with the stadium itself but yet Tepper and the city seem hell bent on wasting all this money from the taxpayer on things that no one asked for. The majority of the fan base just wants this team to be a consistent winner and would rather put resources into that than wasting all this money on luxury seats that the common fan will never have the chance to afford and be able to experience.
