Our best 2nd period of the series!!

Great save Bussi

Staal wants this BAD. He's playing with like a man no regrets as I'm sure he's considering retirement after this series.

David Moore can play all the WR positions he's absolutely a lock to make the 53 based on that and his special team value. I think you have 1 spot open between Horn, Metchie, Tremayne and Chisena. I'd have to give the edge to Tremayne as I think he brings the most overall value as a WR and a special team player due to his size and speed. I'd like to find a spot for Horn, but this room is really crowded at the moment to have a guy who can only play the slot WR spot and be a kick and punt returner.

We need to upgrade at goalie. It's time to accept we are never gonna win a cup with freddie in net. -
Watching this confirms that this staff and front office is super high on Monroe Freeling. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gotta a real chance to win the starting LT job in camp. If he does, we can look to flip Rasheed Walker to a contender desperate for tackle help. As for Ickey I still really like him and wanna extend him but based on how the staff was talking about Freeling it might be time for ickey to start taking some practice sets at guard if he wants to stay here as we are gonna have to have figure out a solution for the contracts of Lewis and Hunt. My preferred scenario for the Oline in 2027 is Freeling-Ickey-Hech-Lewis-Moton.

I don't care what the final numbers look like, but Bryce needs to show the ability to elevate the players around him and not just let the team around him elevate his play. He doesn't have to play like he did versus the Falcons every week but the sub 150 passing yard games need to get whole lot better as that's not a sustainable way to win in this league and I hope the front office understands that and the fact we as fans expect more production from our number 1 overall pick QB going into year 4 especially when extension talks are being brought up.

Hate the injury for him but he was going to be cut next offseason regardless. The front office fell in love with the interior pass rushing that Milton Williams was showing off in Philadelphia and when they lost the bidding war to the Pats they panic and signed the next best guy while ignoring the fact he was obviously not a fit for the scheme. This will open up some more reps for Cam Jackson who I thought looked promising late down the stretch last season and it'll force us to start Bobby Brown who when he actually got playtime looked amazing against the run. I remember versus the saints he stopped like 3 plays in a row by himself and we all were questioning why he wasn't playing more. Scorton-Hunter-Bobby Brown-Derrick Brown-Phillips That is a tough unit to run against

I think our RB depth is actually pretty good. Chuba is a quality starter who can carry the load and give respectable production. Then you have to give Jonathan Brooks the opportunity to show what he's got especially since we invested a 2nd round pick into him, and he'll be going into year 3 of his 4-year rookie deal. We have to know what we have in Brooks by the end of the season. You also got Trevor Etienne who I thought looked pretty good in the limited chances he got to carry the ball. I thought he looked good on kickoffs I just don't want him fielding punts ever again. Then Dillion is a solid practice squad vet who can sub in as a power back if Chuba is out. We don't have a super star top 10 guy, but our overall group is pretty solid.

We have a good chance to win this one as we aren't overmatched talent wise versus the Bears and we're at home. I'm still not sold on Caleb Williams being a good QB, so this is a chance for us to start the season off good. If Bryce wants to help convince the fanbase he's worthy of an extension, then he needs to come out of the gates hot and put up some really good stats in a win. So, we can finally put all the talk of the Bryce trade to rest once and for all. The one concern I have is this is a heck of a week one play caller match up in Ben Johnson versus Brad Idzik calling his 1st regular season game. Hopefully Darrell Bevell will be able to help out Idzik, and we can let Canales focus on being the HC.
