  1. I am curious as to what the story will be if Andy comes out and plays well and leads us to a win. What excuse will they have for Bryce then?
  2. The amount of coddling Bryce is getting from the national media is insane. I understand that we aren't a good football team, but this team has the talent on the Oline and at the skill positions for at least and average QB to throw for over 100 yards in 4 quarters of football. Bryce has had a QBR of 12.7 vs the Saints and a 6.8 vs the Chargers that is historically bad and the team made the right call in benching him. It's annoying how Bryce is getting a complete pass from the national media for his historically bad play. The media is portraying it as if Tepper made Bryce miss the wide-open Adam Thelien, Tepper made Bryce stare down his WR over the middle of the field and throw an INT, Tepper is the reason Bryce missed the call on the blitz pick up. At some point they have to realize that Bryce is just playing like a bust and that the evaluation on him in the pre-draft process was wrong in that his "super processor" mind can't overcome his lack of physical NFL size and ability.
  3. I think the players in locker room know that Bryce who albeit is a nice guy just does not have the physical ability to be a starting NFL QB and I bet they come out and play inspired football today for Andy in order to win and have him stay as the starter.
  4. It all depends on how well Andy plays over the next couple of weeks. If Dalton comes out and gets us 3 wins over the next 3 games while throwing for at least 200 plus yards a game and at least 1 TD a game, then there's no way you go back to Bryce. I'm sure Andy is fried up to solidify his starting role today with a good performance. I know he has to be chomping at the bit considering the next 2 games after today will be revenge games for him in the Bengals and the Bears.
  5. If the team is truly done with Bryce, I'd love for them bring in Ryan Tannehill to back up Andy. Having two experience QBs in the Lockeroom should allow us to be able to at the very least evaluate the talent we have on offense.
  6. Maybe he can put some of that anger into his throws so we can see a pass beyond 10 yards.
  7. Just 2 completely different situations. Last year Bryce probably had a real ankle injury and while he looked overwhelmed, he was still making a couple plays here and there so giving him a week off to rest his ankle and see how Andy preps and plays was good for him. This year however Bryce has looked like the WORST QB TO EVER TAKE A SNAP FOR THIS FRANCHISE. If Bryce is ever gonna work out as an NFL QB, he needed to be benched to show him and the rest of the team that no matter who you are if you aren't playing to the standard set by the team then you will be gone. As my grandmother says this is Bryce's "coming to Jesus moment". There's 2 ways this can go. Number 1 is that Bryce sits and pouts like a spoiled child who is upset that he got grounded and gets traded or released in the offseason or Number 2 this situation brings out the DAWG in Bryce and he comes out with that confidence we saw at Alabama.
  8. Sam Howell turns the ball over too much for my liking, but I'd definitely be on board with this because the one thing Howell does is throw the ball down the field for better or for worse. I can't stand to watch another game of our QB only throwing 3-4 passes over 10 yards in the air.
  9. Dalton looked genuinely excited like he knows that he can play well in this scheme and that it truly is Bryce holding everything back.
  10. If the team is looking for a more long-term Vet QB option, then do I dare say that Sam Darnold will be a FA in the off season, and he's looked good his first 2 games. Darnold is still only 27 years old
  11. I say we keep Dalton as the starter for next year depending on how well he looks the rest of the season and bring in another vet QB place holder to be the backup and for competition. Then draft Drew Allar and allow him to sit till he's ready. The more I watch Drew Allar the more I fall in love with him as a QB prospect. The guy has a prototypical build with an absolute cannon for an arm and has shown decent mobility. He's got room to improve his mental part of his game, but I think if he's given time to come in and sit behind an experienced QB like Dalton and behind this Oline I think he could turn out good.
  12. The defense would give up a lot less points if the offense could at least try to pick up a 1st down.
  13. We threw more deep balls in the one game with Dalton vs the Seahawks than we did all of last year and the past 2 games with Bryce. Bryce doesn't have the footwork, timing, and arm talent to make deep throws in the NFL. Not to mention that yesterday he looked scared to throw the ball past the LOS. Dave needs to have the balls to bench Bryce and play Andy because Bryce is out there playing scared and it's bringing down the entire offense trying to compensate for it. Playing Andy who albeit isn't the answer I can at least trust him to run an NFL offense and allow us to truly evaluate the talent we have on this team. I mean we were running bubble screens and inside zone while down over 20 points in the 4th quarter. It's clear that Bryce and Dave have no trust in the passing game.
  14. There's no way the FO and Tepper will gamble with a rookie QB right after the Bryce disaster. I expect us to ride with Dalton and another vet QB next year. Trade the #1 Pick for a team desperate for Shedeur and use the assets to build the roster and take a QB in 2026 in a better QB class.
  15. The D has quit. They know that Bryce doesn't got it.
  16. Bryce has 1 throw pass the LOS. The coaches don't trust him AT ALL.
  17. There are just too many unknowns with our team right now for me to be able to say that we will win this game. I do however except us to look remarkably well better coached than anything we have seen in the past 5-7 years except when wilks had us looking like an NFL team again for half a season. I mainly just want to see us be able to run and execute a modern NFL offense that is able to muster more than 10 points a game.
  18. Jalen Coker and Andrew Raym both make the 53. TMJ will be traded to a WR needy team for like a conditional 6th or something. Cade Mayes gets cut. The one player who I'm curious to see what happens to is Raheem Blackshear.
  19. Evero has done a fantastic job with the defense. It's going to suck when we lose him when he gets a HC job. I like the Canales playbook but it's clear that the depth on the Oline and QB just aren't good enough to run it. Hopefully we can get a chance to see what it will look like with guys who will actually make this team in the next game.
  20. Other than one really bad pass blocking rep against the patriots andrew raym has actually looked like a good depth center.
