should've ran a FB dive with santoso there what are you doing brady? -
Its a shame Norv wasn't given more time to work with Cam, he was good here. Would've been nice if ol' Ron used that Chargers connection far earlier instead of sticking with Mike Shula for god knows what reason.

If you are going to get it, buy it used so that no money goes to EA. It may be worth it for the franchise changes if you really want one of the new things they added but it's still nothing great just a coaching tree with mostly generated coaches, some small things like homefield advantage abilities and they're adding a scouting revamp later on that isn't in the game yet. Some other small tweaks in Face of the Franchise and next gen stats. Gameplay is still built around random animations rather than physics, glitches galore, the 80+ removed features from older titles still aren't in the game, all that fun stuff.

I'm pretty sure it's Houston's; the Rams traded their 4th rounder and Brandin Cooks to the Texans for a 2nd rounder which meant that Houston had two. They traded theirs to us and kept the Rams one. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2022-nfl-draft-picks-by-team/

He's a pass rusher first and foremost, but I expect you'll see him drop back into coverage some. Remember how everyone used to get pissy over Burns dropping back into coverage last season (myself included)? I think you'll see Reddick doing it instead this season. He isn't a good full time OLB as evidenced by his early career in Arizona where he was asked to be one and was labelled a bust, but I'd think he's at least decently capable of dropping back into coverage given that he has experience doing it unlike Burns. If anyone knows how to use him, it's definitely Rhule.
-
I don't think that he will be, but I think that he should be. The NFL HOF is oddly picky over first ballot receivers it seems.

My god the sexual tension in this thread is so thick you could cut it with a knife

I wouldn't mind going for this if they want less than a first. Maybe a 2nd and some change as I doubt they'd trade a guy who they picked that high for less. Had a mixed season last year but showed some flashes, athletic 6'1 player who runs a 4.39 and is predominantly a man corner which is what we want. Cap hit isn't bad since he's still on a rookie deal and if last year is any indication, whatever we give up Fit will mostly recoup through trade downs. AJ is 29 and corners have a steep fall off not too disimiliar to that of RBs. Could have them compete this year and then have CJ assume the reigns once that decline inevitably happens.

I am not saying that they are running a typical offense, no. Let's say that all of what you are saying regarding him as a passer is true. Why would the Ravens move on from him? The system, gimmick or not, has been producing results.
-
How is Lamar a gimmick QB? That seems to imply that he is a bad thrower, which isn't really true. His receivers aren't particularly hot, considering that he led the NFL in drop rate last season. His #1 is Marquise Brown, who is essentially a young version of Ted Ginn. He ranked 7th in depth-adjusted accuracy, and 6th in deep ball accuracy. Now obviously, stats are not everything and Lamar most definitely has larger windows to throw into than most QBs on top of a smaller sample size, but it isn't like he is a Kordell Stewart or pre-eagles Vick level of passer. He is fine at it and has gotten more accurate every season he's been in the league. Not to mention... Lamar is a 24 year old QB who has won an MVP and has led his team to the playoffs every season he has been in the league. Why would the Ravens move on from him? Winning in the NFL aint easy, and we saw how the Ravens had done as late before he arrived. 2018 prior to him getting his first start: 4-5 2017: 9-7 2016: 8-8 2015: 5-11 edit: wording

I would sacrifice the lives of my entire family if it meant catching a pass from Brian St. Pierre

Madden 22 ranks panthers second worst team in the league
beo replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jeremy Chinn is the same rating as Mike Davis lol I would take the ratings of EA Sports with a grain of salt -
Oh, no doubt with the Stevens saga and all. Divisional rivals are divisional rivals. I was referring to more out there claims such as them resting starters to hurt our draft position in 2018.

Honestly man I had just woke up and felt a little grouchy when I reacted; I didn't read the rest of the conversation up to that point so I'll just own it because I clearly misunderstood most of the conversation seeing as I was vehemently against the move to sign Teddy even when it happened and almost nothing you've said here in this response applies to my beliefs.
-
The truth has nothing to do with your post, although it's pretty funny that a reaction on a message board would make you respond in such a way. I poo'd because a large part of this fanbase in general has this odd obsession with the Saints to an unhealthy degree. Do you really think that Sean Payton sits in his office all day conjuring up ways to screw over the Panthers? I truthfully wonder if half of you don't just view him as some sort of mustache twirling cartoon super villain. I remember whenever we beat them last that there was some theory that they had rested our starters just to fug our draft position. Not saying you said this, but it's a strange phenomenon for a team that has less winning seasons since our inception than many 2nd place teams do in other divisions.
-
It's more for anything non Panthers related it seems... we're out here trying to say a division where the #2 team has more winning seasons than anyone in our division since our inception (which is already a generous sample, because the teams in our division's history pre-1995 is awful) is weaker than the NFC East sans NE lol
-
While this is true in almost all cases, Rhule is under contract with us for 6 more years and it seems he has a considerably longer leash from Tepper than most other coaches in the league would have. I think this is somewhat reflected in our drafting of athletic but less polished prospects as well. Just something to consider. I personally hope that we do scale his workload back and if possible try to save him for key parts of the game (3rd downs, 4th quarter, etc.); but as a coach when you have a weapon of that caliber out there I imagine it's very hard to fight the urge to spam him touches.

Something I found funny about this gif: There was another, seperate storm named John in 1994 (the one in that gif is the one from 2012, so it's not the same unfortunately) which ended up becoming the longest lived tropical cyclone in recorded history, and even crossed the international dateline meaning it was both a hurricane and typhoon at seperate points in its voyage across the Pacific. Knowing this makes the joke even funnier to me, so I thought i'd share.

That would legitimately be a glitch LOL Not as likely but holy jesus imagine that duo.

The Teddy one that you're referring to has mastered the art of trolling, he is hilarious and I hope he never leaves or gets banned.

It's probably not the best quote in Panthers history but I always loved Jake teasing smith on the sideline after he got ran down and brought down at the 1 by someone he didn't see in the wildcard game against Dallas in '03. (timestamped) This one was great as well: I guess they didn't practice hard counts very much in Minnesota. On a more serious note, my vote probably goes to Ice Up Son, Keep Pounding or "You been watching film huh?"
