  1. Will Steichen even want to come here? Will he want to do one more year in Philly if they lose in the Playoffs/SB? Will we have waited too long if they do make it to the SB so that there's no one left after him and he doesn't choose us ... and we end up with Wilks? TUNE IN TOMORROW for more from the Days Of Our Huddle Lives.
  2. For those of you in the dark ... Hurts is 6'1".
  3. I can't stand that FOX smooth jazz cut to commercial music. Usually after an injury.
  4. As much as I know you're a troll account, I agree with your statement here lol.
  5. Shh, you'll wake the Anthony Richardson stans.
  6. I mean, what are the G-Men expecting when THIS guy is calling your D?
  7. I was just looking at his coaching experience, as I hadn't really dove into him much yet. A big old no! He's barely coached at all. Jesus, he was PLAYING when Cam was playing. Dude needs more seasoning.
  8. I'm 100% with you ... had he not gotten SO much better.
  9. Oh, I'm on your side. I was just making sure.
  10. I haven't heard them mention him in days, nor have I seen a #3 anywhere. Even ESPN doesn't have much on him anymore. Take off the tin foil hat.
  11. I thought that would have been a good story, buuuut he's doing fine. He's been at the stadium all week. He's not on life support in a hospital bed anymore. The NFL can't milk it.
  12. So I take it you were one of the ones who didn't want to see the Panthers sneak in?
  13. And how many people visit Vegas each week versus CLT lol. Jesus. Vegas is usually ranked as the #1 or #2 most exciting/fun city in the US. But yeah, send Tom to Charlotte.
  14. I think there is a slight chance they could regulate it: 1. You can't sign an NIL until you are attending the school and are on the team. 2. Once you are, lawyers comb any NIL to make sure it is just for the school/media/ads using your image as a player for that school. 3. You can make whatever is offered. In other words, not an SMU or Miami situation. The local BMW dealership can't just give you a car unless you do commercials for them. Right now, what is being given to guys like the Florida QB is not an NIL. It's a pay to play, as others have said. I keep bringing up that gymnast. She did NIL correctly. She said if you want to exploit my body, you have to pay me. Now she has around $11 million. I know it's all impossible, as someone will always whisper promises into a recruits ears, but if something isn't done, college sports is dead. Like Tbe said ... you're going to have Super Teams like in the NBA. I could see all the IMG Academy kids going to go to one program together. I'm sorry, I know in certain political circles, we feel these kids are being used. But NO teen deserves to be a multi millionaire just because a school is using his skillset and pictures to sell tickets. Meanwhile, the latest gymnastics meet where that girl goes to had to be postponed or something like that because dozens of horny males showed up to gawk and cheer at her lolololololol.
  15. I just love how many Huddlers just KNOW that we can't win with McAdoo and Holcomb. Give the guys the resources they need, and let's go to war.
  16. That's incorrect. The Bills are one of the five teams going. None of the five have had their foe selected yet.
  17. You Have A New Friend Request From: NFL SCOUT
  18. Give me a break. As nice as that motto is, it has done nothing for the franchise. Because that's all it is, a motto.
  19. That was my original issue with paying college kids. And that was before NIL. Now that we let them go into business for themselves, it's almost as if there's nothing that can be done. But hey, like the gymnast girl, I guess softball pitcher can go that route lol.
  20. I don't think there is any saving it. We've entered hell. Look, for decades boosters and the big wigs cheated to win. So rules were made. Then when the sport took off, and "the man" started to make bank ... fans started to feel sorry for the "kids". So NIL was created. Now it's just as bad as it was before those old rules. And it's in more ways than just the boosters and the big wigs channeling money into a NIL. We also have (insert that hot gymnast) making like 11 million dollars JUST because she's sexy. How does that make her teammates feel? How does that make ... um ... not hot female athletes feel? Holy crap, if a portion of female sports and the NIL turns into OnlyFans then lol. The NIL is a mess and it will only get more obscene. There should have just be a salary/rate type payment players get based on the income their sport brings in. I think that was the original idea? Back then I said that would open a can of worms; where a golfer, for example, would complain that a football player gets more money. But I'd much rather them have that headache than the outrageous mess they're in now. We don't even know the half of it since it's so new. We're about to see dozens and dozens of multi millionaire children paid to play college sports. It's insane, and we started it, worrying about how the NCAA and other organizations were making money off of them. Welp ... here we are and it's even worse.
