If Levis ... I laugh and laugh at this stupid franchise but hope the kid is decent as some claim he already is. If Richardson ... I'm done. If a non-QB ... I laugh at this stupid franchise and wonder what they have up their sleeve.

Didn't make it past the OP. Stop with the inferiority complex.

Stroud and Young will both need a vet able to catch whatever they throw his way. Even if it's just seven yards. Thielen could really help both kids.

Which of these FA WRs would you want to go after?
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
We should look at DJ Chark, Jakobi Meyers, and Darius Slayton. -
I don't see Houston doing anything. I think they'll be fine with either Stroud or Young. The Colts would be the one to look at ... but all they'd need to do is trade with Arizona to get Levis. Now ... if Atlanta, Tampa, or Vegas wanted #1 that's a different story ... but one we wouldn't do. We're picking first.

Davis has no business coaching.

Yep, we would've fallen ass backward into the Playoffs, lost the first game, Wilks would still be our coach, we'd be drafting worse than 9th, and our QBs would be Sam and Matt. THANK YOU, DJ! Or, the ref that threw the flag.

This. CJ and Bryce had similar stats in college, both starting for stud teams. I see them as just about equal. BOTH men will have their game tweaked by their NFL coaches. The only real difference is CJ might hold up better physically through an entire season. Yes, that's the only difference IMHO. I've always wanted CJ over Bryce. The GA just shows us what he can do against a top tier defense. It shouldn't have changed anyone's mind. That is who he is.

OP, just say you don't like Stroud and are salivating over Young and be done with this inane thread.

Chicago has never had a WR as good as DJ Moore

Trade is a win/win for both teams. We get our hopefully franchise QB, they get a good WR. -

"LFG" is the new "It's in the hole!". STOP using it. That said, give me Stroud! He could be the real deal.
-
Let the SMOKE begin! Let's drop hints about a QB ... knowing another team wants him bad. Then they'll trade with us to get him ... and we'll end up with the one we actually want.
-
Hey, at least we won't have to be antsy and wait for our pick in the first round.
-
Look, rookie QBs usually have a rough first year anyway ... we weren't going to go all the way with him and Moore. If the pick pans out ... we have his entire career to give him weapons at WR. People need to think about the future. If we get the franchise QB we're sitting better than a hell of a lot of teams. In the meantime ... FA WRs out there: Adam Thielen DJ Chark Odell Beckham Jakobi Meyers JuJu Smith-Schuster Mecole Hardman Darius Slayton I think it's all going to be just fine. And we ALL know which WR will be in the Draft next season! Maybe if we take our lumps we could have Stroud throwing to Marvin Harrison Jr.

So... Common Sense Says We're Drafting Stroud... Right????

If it's AR ... I'm out. -
Hey look, a QB drafting thread! FINALLY. We've needed one!

How can you predict the success of a college QB in the NFL?

Haven't read the thread yet ... but of COURSE the majority of the Huddle doesn't like him. He's "boring". Not "flashy". Not "electric". Christ, a 1/3 of this board wanted Zach Wilson lol. Give Levis a headband and have him scoot all over the field and the Huddle would be in love.

Will Kunkel says we're only "seriously interested" in three

Yeah, I think as great of a poster Mr. Scot has been on this board, his age really shows when it comes to Twitter. He's used to newspaper journalism and TV news ... where what's reported has been fact checked. He has yet to learn that Twitter is not reliable AT ALL ... even if the person has a blue check mark. He posts Tweets 24/7 on here and assumes it's gospel IMHO. The biggest way to tell if a Tweet is pure opinion is if they use the word "sources". A source could be a trainer, social media kid fresh out of college, security guard, BOA stadium concession stand delivery guy, etc. who "heard something" and then told someone else, and that someone else told a "reporter" who then tweeted it out. Nothing is fact checked anymore. Twitter is the wild west. If it doesn't have "on condition of anonymity" ... ignore it, Mr. Scot.
