It's in response to people saying Houston has better WRs. No one even knew their WRs until Stroud made them. Which is why I think Mingo would have better stats in Houston than here.

Proof needed. X is not proof.

Maybe they know in an alternate universe. All I know is that Nico Collins, Noah Brown, and Tank Dell were not household names. But hey, if they lucked out and got three studs to go along with their stud QB, Houston is going to be around for a good bit.

IMHO Mingo would have similar stats to the three WRs that Stroud has helped become names in Houston.

I'm sure there's a nerd out there willing to do the stats for drafted QBs and how long the are a starter and of course 1st Round QBs ... but I'm not about to do that. Obviously non 1st will be largely leaning toward bench riders or out of the league because there's only 32 teams. But I'd be willing to bet 1st rounders are 50/50. Half remain starter and half do not. Any nerds out there?

For me it's the Jake implosion game against AZ since you said "moment". Even worse than the SB losses for me.

You forgot where most don't remain in the league though. There are WAY more rookie QBs who ride the bench or leave the league than have a rough first season then become stars. WAY more. But we've already said you're the Panters #1 fan. I don't know why you keep responding to people.

I think this is the biggest disconnect between the majority of us and the "Bryce Guys". NONE of us think this team is good. NONE. We know the Oline is weak, we know the WRs are weak, we know the HC sucks, we know the OC sucks. But we believe Bryce sucks ... despite all that.

Why though? Because he was good with an elite team at Alabama?

But that's what we had this year for the most part. New coach, new scheme, AT and Chark. You'll never hit on all of that all at once. But a great QB can keep you in games. Cam did it all the time. Young can't.

Just curious, what if our WRs only seemed poor due to the OC? Would you give them the benefit of the doubt? Or ... do you blame them?

It's obtuse when facts blind loyalty. If a player/position/coach sucks ... they suck. You can cheer for them all you want but you're wasting your time. If that's fine, then cool. Like I said, you can be the #1 fan.
